9. I have always hated AI, hes a cocky selfish little bitch, but i dont think im being biased here. Come on now you really think the nugs have any shot in the west this year?

oh and ill head right over to pd to continue my discussion of basketball, good idea this doesnt belong here.
10. it is not the dicussion that does not belong it is you........and AI has found a team where his #'s dont matter it's about winning now i am done with you go away moran

11. Dude no need for name calling. Im stating my opinion in a public forum, who are you to tell me i dont belong. If you cant handle people disagreeing with your opinions then dont post them on here.

I dont think Denver is a serious contender this year, I would give them a very slim chance if they happen to get real hot at the right time. They are ranked 27th in the league in OPP PPG and thats not going to get it done in the postseason.
12. ok nooobie you made your case already, now move on....sigh gtfo.

the nuggets are gellin like felons, possibly like magellan....definitely coming together, FINALLY. Granted they are still probably not top 5 yet but i put them at top 6 right now. if they played like this week all the time they would be top 3 but time will tell there. lebrick sure had his hands full since melo pretty much owns his team every time they play due to their rivalry.

i watch pretty much every game and its a slow gain in consistency every game. seriously, with every game that Kleiza comes closer to being a star in his own right they really are better as a team. ai and melo have let him into their scoring circle and its fun to watch. they usually wait until the last month of the year but they started the run and gelling earlier this year. after realing they were goofing off yet AGAIN but they are focused now after getting a clue.

and dont forget anthony carter, the dude has really brought a new element over the last month that has helped everyone and ai is letting him shoot more now.

in the last month alone melo has become a rebounding MANIAC on both ends where he used to just shoot. he is even dishing it off more while driving the lane. AI has been nothing BUT a team player since getting here, its amazing to see his transformation to be honest. i have never seen him so unselfish and playing team ball and having FUN. Both melo AND ai are dishing to Kleiza and he is paying them back by not missing.

btw they are almost top ten in defense now (espn said that tonight), moving up daily there too. between the shotblocks and steals every game i am surprised they are not there already. plus Martin and Camby are defensive beasts, hell even melo is having fun with it now.

GRANTED, usually when everythings clicking someone major gets hurt so i am waiting for that. i pray its not coming but it sucks pretty regularly. It just feels like they are really pushing through finally.

next week: what went wrong.
13. ^^^^^^^ took the werdz right outta my mouth well put nh

with what's happening in LA and phoenix, and the continuance of what's going on in San Antonio and Dallas, do you really think these guys get out of the first round? I dont, unless Anthony takes the next step and becomes a bonafied superstar, instead of being just a really good player.
15. anthony is a superstar whenever he wants to be. he knows you cant stop him one on one. ai is really helping him mature faster since he actually listens to him.

it really clicked in the last month for melo too, i think it was when every time he got the ball they doubled him as he started to spin so he ran into a wall and got a foul or they stole the ball. by the 3rd or 4th steal on him he figured it out and would start the spin and dish it off instead and learned to keep his head up while turning so he would not have a blind spot. it was like watching evolution happen lol. sometimes he would start the spin after figuring it out now and go up and do a turnaround and sink it right in thier faces. this shows that whatever he does he mixes it up when he learns it so he is not predictable and you dont know how to defend it. (kind of like poker there.)

i tell ya, he is getting it. i never thought he would do anything but shoot but he has added offensive rebounding and a resemblence of defense as well as PASSING. the thing is he has great court vision but chose not to use it.

one minute he is the next bernard king scoring only machine, the next he is an all-around stud. he is still coming into his prime obv and will continue to be better.

this allstar game is going to be SO MUCH FUN, you will see.

FTR AI had 13 assists yesterday and ZERO TURNOVERS. that is freaking amazing for him. my biggest complaint was him throwing away a good 4-5 bounce passes a game through traffic that never got through. you can almost see his mind working now that he is on the attack with the ball but thinking of passing or driving or backing out for a shot. i think melo has helped him as well.
16. I am not a noob so I will re-state this

AI will never win a ring
17. i dont know if he will or not, it would just be nice to get past san antonio at this point.

noob lol<3
18. I like the Nug's and have been to more nuggets games than my beloved Warriors. OF course when I was living in Denver you had a team anchored by George McCloud and James Posey and Raef Lafreanze so tickets were well rather cheap rly...
19. yeah these are not even your last years nuggets. lol @ raef being an anchor wp.

more like we were towing an anchor, a junior investment banker.

21. there is nothing about AIs game that would prevent him from winning a ring. he just hasnt. he is still a great maximum effort player.

22. so you put them 7th, i had them 6th. i still do.
