  1. I never thought it would be a sweep. I still don't.

Any thoughts on the pitching match up tonight, Cook v. Lester, the blot clot survivor v. the cancer survivor.

It will come down to the bullpens tonight and the Rockies will start hitting.

    Rockies win 7-6.

I Mr. Magoo'd my way into into some tickets, so I will be there to either see the Rockies win their first World Series game or I will see the Red Sox win a World Series.
  2. what made you think it wouldnt be a sweep?

  5. Boston will wanna take it at home
  6. Frank,

I have been a Red Sox fan for probably longer than you have been alive.

But to answer your question, I believed that the Rockies would carry their youthful enthusiasm and "game by game" attitude into the series and that would allow them to win couple of games, however, I think the realization of the magnitude of their accomplishment has reached the forefront of their consciousness, where as before they really were able to not ask, why and how, they were able to pull this off and just play ball.

In otherwords, they are putting pressure on themselves, which is what they did not do in their end of the season run and playoffs.

I also think that Clint Hurdle and Tom Runnnels have handled the young players amazingly well.

Win or lose the Rockies have had a great season.
