Vocal fry is considered a speech impediment but since people like Kim K do it all day and commercials use it with their "broad voices" it has become more and more mainstream. This is an annoying trend that needs to stop!

Most disturbing part of this thread is the hatred of white pants.
-
What makes vocal fry any more or less of a speech impediment than the use of falsetto?

No.
I actually never put anyone on mute or ignore, ever. Like, literally, ever.
For example, even in the 6 year span of 2004 - 2010 of playing online poker, not once did I ever mute a single person in my entire time playing online poker, ever, in several million hands played. This was not because nobody ever said anything terrible/fucked up/retarded/etc in my poker tables' chatboxes ever. Far from it. Rather, I simply never ever mute anyone or put anyone on "ignore" ever, because it just seems like it is self-harmful to me. Because, for example, what if the person says something funny, or interesting, or worthwhile, or maybe none of those things, but so terrible that it is like entertaining despite being terrible, at some point in the future. If I mute them, then I will miss it. I don't want to miss stuff and not even realize I missed it, that would suck. So I just never ever mute or put anyone on ignore ever, no matter what. -

For real though, agree with everything you said b. In poker it was more just because I didn't want to miss any potential easy free information though.

Well yea, I mean I guess if it was in like, for example if you were on the rail of one of those megastakes $500/$1,000 blinds HU cash game tables of PA vs D, and there were a bunch of spammers spamming annoying website urls and shit over and over, to the extent where you literally can't see anything that any of the non-spammer people are saying, then that's different. But I just meant like, when you are sitting at an actual poker table playing poker, and some guy at your table says some standard tard-shit, I never ever mute that person in that scenario, ever. No matter how bad whatever they are saying is. Like, even if they saying "I'm gonna track your IP and find you and rape and murder your whole entire family and blah blah blah" (which I've seen people say to each other in chatboxes at my poker tables on dozens of occasions), I don't even mute that. Literally never mute anyone no matter what, just can't do it, lol. In fact, those are some of the people who I would LEAST want to mute, if there even was a type of person that I would want to mute, since those are the types of things I am most eager to read, not least eager to read, lol. The ones who say boring/non-bad stuff all the time would be the most muteworthy imo, but I don't mute them either.
