I think the worst albums are ones you build up a ton of anticipation for based on a single or two you heard on the radio and loved (back in the dayyyyyyy son) only to realize that the rest of the album was made up of utter filler garbage. I think most of my musical youth was spent this way....I could name a bunch of albums but right now my brain is NOT cooperating, so I'll just go with any new Dave Matthews. Bla. -
Was oddly excited to get St. Anger when it came out. I then listened to it and was immediately pissed off that I even bothered with it.

The worst album I've ever bought was the Blur album with that "Woo Hoo"song on it, altho the Sugar Ray album with "I Just Wanna Fly" was a close second.

There's an abundance of terrible albums, and terrible bands. I think what should qualify in this thread are albums that had huge expectations and fell flat.
