    After serving a customer chips, guacamole, and a pork taco, Seattle bartender Victoria Liss was left with a less-than-generous tip. On the receipt for $28.98 the customer wrote in $0 for tip and added a message that's created an avalanche of outraged responses across social media.

    She should be fired. The fact that she did that would make me think twice about eating there in case another waitress found a reason to "call me out".

    in my days as a waiter some Duke student with his gf got wasted and our manager made me cut him off. He wrote "fuck you" on the tip line, tab was around $100. I just laughed it off but his gf apologized a lot before they left. Ran into her at a bar 2 weeks, she said she broke up with him because of it, and I ended up dating her for a couple months. Lol @ that dude.

    Personally I like that she called him out. She should be fired for it but I doubt she gets paid enough to be treated like that. If were her tho I wouldn't have told anyone about it, I would have been pretty upset tho.

    I am so sick of waiters/waitresses acting so entitled. Tips are EXTRA. They are not REQUIRED. That is what makes it a TIP and not part of your BILL. Why is this so fucking hard to comprehend. If I get shitty service I will write "fuck you" on the tip line before I tip.

    Tipping is not and should not be automatic. It is a performance based merit system and one has to earn a tip. I rarely don't tip but when I don't you know you fucked up.

    This fat bitch pissed me off. Merge with old bad tipper thread?

    A random writing on a receipt that you have to give into your boss. It didn't have a comment section. And I bet she knows she could lose weight, trust me, most of us know every little thing that is wrong with us and we are prob way more critical about it than guys are. I wish I could see what he looks like I would put a bet on the fact that he's not hot.

    So you think telling someone that you don't know, never met that they could stand to lose a few pounds is ok. Not only that but the guy is a coward about it. If you want to tell someone something like that say it to their face not on a piece of paper after you already ducked out. The guy is one of the worst type's of people around. He's a coward and a tool at the same time. And you a defending him.

    I have no problem with someone leaving zero for a tip for bad service or bad food (again cowardly to leave the tip without addressing the server about it). I don't even have a problem with someone during a conversation face to face say that they could help them lose weight. But this, this guy is a passive aggressive douche bag that doesn't have the guts, balls, whatever to be a man.

    Be careful who you defend it reflects on you.
