    Went to the casino to play poker so I go to piss b4. Anyway see this scumbag that doesn't wash his hands and he comes and sits at my table I almost said something to him I woukda if I was drunk ha

    I'm sorry if this comes across as racist, but it always seems to be the Asians at the casino who don't wash their hands after using the bathroom. I've noticed it so many times.

    Must be a cultural thing.

    the real germs are on the bathroom door handle...so the people you should say something to are the ones who touch the door handle. just imo.

    urinals have no door handle...and most bathrooms at casinos ( like foxwoods) don't have doors... so i assume your going w option number 2.

    while i always wash my hands after using a public restroom, i would guess that as far as net germs it doesnt make too much of a difference.

    if a person is spreading germs by touching their dick and not washing hands after, then they are prob spreading germs after they have washed their hands anyway.

    there are prob a ton of other things that people do that u wouldnt have a prob with, that spread as many or more germs.

    so it really comes down to a peace of mind issue, obv no one wants to think of some dude touching himself and then other stuff u touch and it would be nice of him to wash his hands. it would also show that hygiene was a factor in his life which would mean he was prob less likely to be germ infested.

    i wash my hands in a public restroom not bc i have touched myself, but bc its prob just a good idea to wash ur hands in public places.

    as far as doing something about it, i prob wouldnt straightaway, but would def wash my hands after or during playing. playing in casinos, its prob a good idea to have hand sanitizer on u.

    u could also pull out the hand sanitizer and offer it around the table.

    At least then you won't know who has the dirty hands. I am not really too phobic about germs, but when I am playing poker, I wash my hands at every opportunity.

    It could be worse. I just saw on the News that a person with Measles went to the Super Bowl Village last friday and could have possibly infected thousands of people with the highly contagious disease.

    That would suck.

    If somebody sat at my table and I'd just witnessed them not washing their hands, I'd probably kill myself. This must have been really traumatic for you.

    I've just started to consider things like this the past few weeks. I noticed a correlation between working out and getting colds and realized I'm touching the same bar hundreds of people have touched and not washing my hands. So now I use sanitizer after each workout. I definitely plan on doing the same when playing live poker in the future.

    Was he wiping his ass? I'm not too worried about guys taking a piss and not washing afterward. It is just skin they are touching, also urine is pretty clean.

    I'm more worried about dudes wiping their buts then getting fecal matter on the chips.

    I seriously can't imagine being this anal about dumb shit like this. If he is taking a shit, that's one thing. People are way to obsessed with hand washing. If you piss in a urinal, how are your hands any dirtier than they were before? Like it was said above, the doorknob is probably the dirtiest thing in that bathroom.

    Unfortunately the poker room I work at has the most unsanitary players imaginable. Over 75% of the players are 50 or older and every time I go to the bathroom I wash my hands. ( because you should and I have to) The problem is when I'll be washing my hands and looking in the mirror as player after player just walks in takes a piss then turns around and leaves like the sink isn't even there. It happens so much even the few sanitary players make comments about it at the table asking me why they don't. Obv the women who hear that cringe when its brought up. Besides that the players love eating chips, burgers, pizza, etc, basically anything messy then touching the chips and cards with no napkins in sight.

    Ftr I'm not complaining about my job at all cause I actually like it a lot but its a definitely a pet peeve when I see blatant lack of hygiene and consideration.

    Haha , on several times that i´ve visited my local racetrack the bathroom DIDN´T HAVE ANY SOAP. I actually thought of buying a cheap soap bottle next time and just leaving it there. Not that anyone would use it anyway.

    just gona throw this out there from my own personal hygiene. Prob gona get flamed but probably not gona re-open this thread so w/e.

    Your own urine is not unsanitary to you. Your feces are. Therefore if you just take a piss there's really no need to wash your hands for your own hygiene. Just for those around you. So when I am at home by myself I literally never wash my hands after taking a piss. Only if I drop a deuce. In public it depends on the cleanliness of the facilities. If the sink looks disgusting I'm not going to do it.

    Also my girlfriend is allergic to all things scented and hand soap is the worst to get the smell to go away. I have unscented soap in my own home but unless I like have actual piss on my hands I am only going to use warm water to wash them.

    dude through out the course of your life, your body has been exposed to so much worse stuff with money, or other times at casinos.. You just probably didn't know about it.

    I wouldn't have said anything. It would be kind of rude, and embarrassing for that guy to get called out at the table.
