1. Theres a lot of posts about watches on here, and I know almost every man in the world has some sort of interest in watches. theres that site that rents expensive handbags for women. so my question is, would you ever pay to rent a watch that might be out of your purchase price range for a week/month/3 months? would you only do it for special occasions like a wedding, or is the idea of having a new watch every few months appealing to you?

  2. I have no interest in watches. "Almost every man in the world?" lol..
  3. No. Dont see a reason to. Buy a nice one in your price range.

Same. I always have my phone with me, and I'm not particularly fond of having any sort of jewelry on or around my hands. I have no need nor desire for any watch.
  6. Sounds like a terrible idea.

Yeah, what is this "every man in the world" crap? I have never worn a watch in my life and probably will never wear one in my life. I won't buy one let alone rent one. My cell phone has a clock on it, it's awesome.
  8. Laughers at renting a watch, nope.

Buy one you can afford and enjoy it, upgrade as your income allows down the road.
  9. I've worn a watch since I was 12. Must be a generational thing.
  10. I dont think I ever would but I think this would work in some of the bigger cities in the US. People in LA and Miami like to impress with rented cars and such, I could see people renting a 50k watch for a night or two..
  11. I didn't think I'd rent anything until I got these rims for $25 / week.

If I could get a baller watch too, why not ?
  12. Why rent when crackheads steal, and sell them at deeeeep discounts...

That truck is screaming for a 3/4 drop and a shave job.
  14. If you rent a watch you're a loser.
  15. Never rented a watch but I've bought 30 minutes of time before.

i was going to get a 3" leaf with a 1" block for the rear.... do i need a shim??? And is there a way someone knows which shim i need to get so i can order it with my kit?

i though originally since the 4 inch block was an angled block.. maybe this one inch block would be too .. but i doubt it! since its not part of a kit...i just need to know wat angle block i need for my extended cab so i can order it the same time and since i have to other truck to drive. i cant have a truck sitting for another week or w.e while i wait for the shim!
  17. watches are for old men. if i could go without knowing what time it is for the rest of my life i think i would do it

  20. I have never worn a watch in my entire life. I think people that wear big fancy watches are making up for other things. They are retarded imo, that is what cell phones are for, and there are clocks everywhere. Why the fuck do you need a watch, what a waste of money

  22. Personally I like to wear a watch obv my cell has a clock but a nice watch compliments any ensemble
  23. yeah i think in todays day and age watches are used more as a style accessory as opposed to a necessary tool to tell time.

  24. I'd never rent one and even if I did I'd be too worried about damaging it to enjoy it.

To all the people who hate on watches: do you hate on every other unnecessary fashion accessory in existance? I personally just love the way mine looks and it's a hell of a lot more reliable than my phone.

  25. I own a rent-to-own store and I don't do jewlery but the place I worked at before did. You would be amazed at how many people rent-to-own the stuff. The store I managed did alot of wedding sets, gold chains and big ass cross medalions. Latino related jewlery was real popular too. I guess a latino girl's 15th bday is a big deal because they sold alot of jewlery for that occasion.
