1. I made some pizza from scratch today. Started by making some dough.

    Here it is before I let it rise.



    Chopped up some onions.



    Cooked them until caramelized.





    Put it all together. Caramelized onion and linguica pizza with extra toppings.



    425° for about 14 minutes later.



    I made four of these bad boys for a grand total of less than $11. Taste so damn good.

    Nope. I just use one of these. Man they are so filling. I'm having a hard time finishing half of one. I have to go take a rest.

  11. We bough this big stone thingie that you put into your stove, that makes it cook like its a stone owen (Italian style). I'll take some pics next time I make home made pizza.

  13. Ive got the stone too but mostly use it for frozen pizza. It cooks it well and keeps it hot after you pull it out of the oven.

    Have you used the stone to cook a fresh pizza? If so I would probably pre bake it cuz there is nothing wosre than a doughy pizza imo.

    i just made some breakfast with the gf.....cheesy eggs w/ diced jalapenos, bacon, and toast w/ amish apple butter......

    Its sad that people dont realize you can cook really good things cheaply, but I guess its easier to shop the dollar menu.

    It's a portugese pork sausage. there are a lot of spots around here that make it really nice. It's very similar to chorizo. My father likes it so that's why I made that.

  23. Me and my kid took the leftover dough and decided to make things with them. The theme was "make mommy something nice". Can you tell which one was mine?




    Oh and I got a pic of my daughter taking a nice bite out of my "roll" but the wife made me delete it. Damn women.
