If the victim was a family member I may be scared that I am next, so possibly yes. If it wasnt a family member then probably no.

Grandmother and grandfather going through a separation. Grandmother hiding money from grandfather. Grandmother extremely healthy unexpectedly falls into coma, focus can't figure it out. Grandfather gives very vague details on the day she fell ill and refuses to answer some questions. Answers given by grandfather contradict previous answers given to the same questions. Grandfather shows no emotion at all. Could go on and on describing behavior of grandfather.

It's always better for authorities to know because chances are, if there is something to snitch on, you can't handle it on your own
It reminds me of high school, a kid who smokes pot had a locker beside me, and I had to snitch because the smell started to waft thru the locker and make my shit smell like weed
and in college I had to snitch on a buddy who cheated on his gf, so i told her... I kind of regret that one but oh well. -
