    i guess you are right that he is going to get caught eventually. But I guess you could sit back and wait for someone else to do it, or you could snap dial 911 like this father did.

    I would first call my child a lawyer and let the lawyer inform the police that his or her client will be turning themselves in.

    This kid is the ringleader for that vicious gang beating on that chinese kid in Chicago. This kid will be dealt with 100% because the beating video got some much noriety.

    I mean, its video, sooner or later someone is gonna ID the kid. You really don't have to do anything but they will find your kid is all I'm saying.

    the guy is in law enforcement himself...don't think he had much of a choice.

    guess you could get him a lawyer...but he had family members calling the house and telling him they needed to do something.

    This but if it's on video in other circumstances lawyer up then turn him in with the lawyer.

    If no video whelp guess we will see if he will turn me into child protective services.

    Fuck those kids, I wouldn't be too bothered by my kid being in a justifiable fight but those cowards need to be taught a lesson before they kill someone bc they want to be tough

    Absolutely. Kid that got beat up is incredibly lucky to walk away with only bloody nose and some cuts and bruises.

    Kid was already caught, but the Dad could have convinced the kid to turn himself in or hire a lawyer who would have arranged for it. Calling 911 like it was some kind of emergency was stupid. Maybe that's where the kid gets it from.

    As a parent I would have sat the kid down and said, "Listen dumbass, you are already caught for doing this. You got too choices, turn yourself in or turn yourself in. If you decide to turn yourself in, I will help you. If you don't I will not help you. You decide and I need you answer right now."

    Oh and what a weak beat down. The victim barely got hurt.

    I'd call a lawyer, while wondering how I ever raised such a coward. Can't just try and sweep this under the rug. This kid is going down one way or the other. Face blasted all over the TV and internet, he's going to jail or killed in some street justice.

    What if your kid keeps stealing money from you to buy drugs and is much bigger than you and would beat the fuck out of you in a fight? He steals shit from your house and sells it. At what point do you say "Fuck it, I'm sending this kid to jail."

    Thought about this and I am not sure that I could even turn him in for rape or murder. If I thought he would repeat his actions and hurt someone else than I probably could but who knows. It is really hard to look at my sweet son before he's even a teenager and think that he could be capable of anything like that and I hope I never have to endure anything remotely close to a decision like this. Some of the most gripping video I have ever seen is of Jeffrey Dahmer's parents on some documentary where they were being asked about their son and the looks on their faces talking about how they had no clue and how they will always love their son no matter what. Reminds me of unconditional love thread because I could turn in 100% any woman I've ever been with but when it comes to your children things change
