IIRC I once sat in Waco's car at The Venetian as he and Akat smoked a blunt, despite the fact that I've never smoked and can't stand the smell of weed (I'm just a sucker for good conversations about the Mets). As the creator of the NQTW concept, I feel a need to defend it.

I think when used as intended - the concept is fine. Threads do not get merged into that thread. Anyone who posts in there chooses not to start their own thread. However, when something in that thread gets interesting, then please start a new thread. I saw the Wretchy stuff in that thread and thought - why the hell is this here. This is definitely threadworthy.

Originally, I figured people would use it for basically random stuff. Minor news stories, random videos or pictures, rants, jokes and sssssivarT. Maybe we need to give it a rest for a few months. I still think it serves a purpose, and if we continue it, we should just add (may be NSFW) so that people don't get their panties in a bunch.

So for those that hate it - I challenge you to start some threadworthy threads. Or better yet - create some not threadworthy threads.

In response to the not thread worthy thing, you people do realize that when a thread is made, there is that X box you can click on to hide the thread? Bunch of whiny ass, immature people on this site if you are complaining about threads you dont think need to be made.

I click the X button at least 5 times a day on threads that I feel are just stupid and I dont bitch about them.

Now back to Wretchy thing. Its a felony in Nevada if you have a weed pipe in your possession? Damn! Taking weed off your property and smoking while driving or smoking in your vehicle while parked on a business's property is fucking stupid! This is coming from someone who smokes once in a while so dont go there with, "you probably have never smoked before".

I really hated the idea of the NQTW thread for the longest time. Now it is pretty much everything that I used to love about OT. If someone posts something in there and it is worthy of a thread then someone go ahead and post a thread. Calling someone out on reposting something that was in there is retarded because for the most part its a huge cluster fuck.

Smoking a blunt is in his car is fucking retarded esp is a parking garage. No matter if the windows are rolled up you can still smell it and blunts produce an insane amount of smoke. I've smoked plenty of times at casinos and parking garages and you have to be more cognizant and use a pipe or a sneak a toke, never a blunt. Gl getting that ban lifted I have a friend that got caught doing the same thing and he has the perma ban hammer from all Caesar properties.

I'm reading that the CL of the $2200 bounty w/ 7 left was also DQ'd n bant--what a dagger. Been smoking in casino rooms and cars in parking garages for a long time n never even had a close call. *shrug*

sounds like unlawful detainment?? i might be wrong but i am pretty certain a security guard has NO right to handcuff someone and detain them... unless Nevada has a crazy law allowing it?
