So yeah I'm sure there is a thread in pd somewhere but who the f wants to venture into there anymore. I'm excited for this today with a lot of great players at the ft. Supposedly ESPN2 will have 15 minute delayed coverage on all day and once it goes 3 handed it will be moved to ESPN. This will definitely be getting a spot on one of my screens throughout the day.
As for my prediction - I'll take Eoghan O'dea to win. Every prediction on pokernews seemingly has Collins to win, I just like the Irishman's calm and cool image at the table more. A lot of their predictions also have Benba busting out pretty quickly, I hope he makes a run at it because he might be the only one at the table to spark up any form of conversation. -
What time does it start?
-
The first session begins Sunday, November 6th -- starting at 11:30 am in Las Vegas (2:30 pm EST). Sunday’s session will include play from nine initial players down to just three survivors. Once the final three have been determined, play will take a one-day recess.
took that off of wsop.com, but my on screen cable guide says 1:30 as a starting, and I guess I'm considered to live in mountain time now, so idk. I'll guarantee a delay no matter what with the starting time, so plan a little bit after 12 vegas time -
Heiiiiiiiiiinz tho
-
3:30-10:00 here, I havent watched much of the coverage this year but I'll probably still check it out
-
I did not realize it was on TV in the day time I guess I was looking at night
other that USCphildo I dont know anybody else screen name do any of them post here? -
I'm just dreading how long his decisions are gonna take in real time

And @ towman, Heinz is a p5er mainly pd tho - MastaP89, FenwayKing will be on his rail today I'm sure. Giannetti was Hazards online, Ben Lamb is Benba -

I hated that hazard21 dude in 5-10 back in the day he got a lot of money from me lol
and I have played MTT with mastap89 I think
I like Ben Lamb I just dont make any connection to his screen name -
If Darvin Moon continues to run good he will take it down

Rooting for mastap89 or phildo to TID.

So sick that I have tomorrow off, sleep til 4:30 am, wake up for the last 10 minutes of the early NFL games (Astro unfortunately has the Atlanta game), then NYG-NE, then Bal-Pit) and it's all done before lunch.
Looking forward to the FT, Heinz is sick, Collins and Benba obv sick, actually everyone except the old nit seems pretty good. This new format is awesome for actual poker fans... -
take it the squares didnt end up getting run? or did i just miss it?

I saw the squares thread, I just don't think there was much interest in it. I had someone tell me that they disliked the format, but I am all for it. Sure you kill any momentum, tells, and edge you hold over someone at the time, but being able to watch the coverage as a fan and not know the final outcome is awesome. The 4 month layoff is a little iffy, but whatever, I think it is a success in the end. You want the players the players the ability to peak when it matters and this allows for it.

this link has twitter and facebook accounts for the players if you wanna get a sense of what life is like for them, i only creeped on the twitter accts for a bit lol
would be cool if FWK chimed in and gave us a quick overview of how life has been for Heinz and what he's been feeling/doing leading up to this
anyone in Vegas heading down to rail at any point? -
Did not know Holden was from Sussex. Guess i am rooting for him
-
B Lamb plays like a nit and will bust first.
