2 decent shows, and 1 good one for kinda shitty one. If boardwalk wasn't so good this seasons and Thrones on the way, I'd snap cancel this service.HBO has canceled three of its shows: "Hung," "How to Make it in America" and "Bored to Death," Variety was the first to report. But the primetime cable network did spare one series. According to TVLine, the struggling "Enlightened" was renewed.

I would pay if the only show HBO had was Game of Thrones.

Edit: Not to mention Luck starts full time in January and that show looks fucking sweet. -
that sucks, i like all 3 of these. Prolly no one watches them what can u do
-
I loved bored to death. You will be missed.
-
figured it was the ned for Hung after this last season
really sucks about Bored to Death, Ted Danson was the man in that show
never watched make it in America tho -
Hung was good the first season, but it got a little bit ridiculous with the manwhorehouse resource center and the tranny prom date this season.
HTMIIA was okay, but it was kind of a weak Entourage remix with clothing deals and hipsters instead of movie deals and celebrities. Lake Bell's boobs are magnificent, though. -
It's too bad, how to make it in America rly hit its stride this season and became much more than a cheap entourage facsimile
Rly enjoyed bored to death as well although season 2 > 3 IMO. It still had a lot of material left to mine -

Never liked hung
Weird that they cancel three of their half hour shows - only other I can think of is eastbound and that's not coming back fOr awhile or for long

one of the seasons most unexpected surprises for sure -
Snap. I forgot about luck, that shows has a lot of potential.
I think BTD def had a few more seasons in it. HTMIA, wasn't really that great story wise, but I liked every character on that show and the Intro was dope as hell. Hung was my least fave, but It was watchable. I dont like Enlightened very much. Some of the characters are really good, but the star is the most awkward person alive.... I can't watch -
I still haven't forgiven them for canceling Deadwood (assuming it was canceled)
-
too bad about bored to death. hbo still rocks though. I didnt watch boardwalk but luck looks awesome and obv. game of thrones. hopefully treme does another season.
-
man that really sucks. Just started thinking 'How to make it in America' had some real potential. I really enjoyed that 2nd season and now nothing??? blah

i gave hung 2 episodes before i stopped watching it...i thought it was a giant piece of shit with awful writing and awful acting...i remember being really excited for it bc of the concept but i thought it was just awful
never watched the other 2 shows
curb is my favorite show of all time, im obsessed with game of thrones, boardwalk empire is amazing, luck looks ridiculoys...hbo has been and always will be the tits -
Hung was a letdown overall, but Bored to Death had some pretty funny moments. I guess the bright side is this means room for more new shows.
And cosign Luck having a lot of potential, managed to catch the sneak preview of ep1 and it has a lot of promise, besides the fact that Mann used half of the Heat soundtrack in one episode. -
shit, man...I agree htmiia was on an upswing with a lot of potential directions to go, sucks its over. Lost interest in bored to death, so dont really care about that. Weird that Enlightened was the one they kept, they probably have a deal for x amount of seasons or something.
They have a bunch of new shows coming out in the next year, could be that theyre clearing the slate for those. Life's Too Short looks like a Curb-type show about midgets. -
at first i was upset (especially about bored to death), but they didn't have much of a choice. they have a bazillion shows to fit into next year's schedule already. and this year was already so full that they had to put bored to death on monday.
sepinwall talks about it here: http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/whats-al...-it-in-america -
Goog riddance to Hung but how to make it and bored to death were great.
I still miss Deadwood and wish they kept John in Cincinnati more than one season but I think I'm only person who liked that one.
It's HBO so you know they will replace those three shows with some good ones. -
Sucks, really liked Bored to Death and How to Make It.
Enlightened is pretty awful, but prolly cheap to produce tho. -
Wifey and I like'd JFC. We still quote that shit all the time... mostly just the "I don't know butchy instead" part

HBO should really just lose the movies and put original programming on every night
