  1. Is it worth buying the service plan for it from Best Buy??
  2. i didnt, and ive never had a problem with my 360...

    prob just jinxed that tho.

  3. we bought the plan... if you have a problem they switch out the xbox for you, rather than having to send it in for repairs - same with the controllers and other stuff

if you have a girl you should get her a pink xbox controller, it's fun

  4. How much does it cost? Walmart has a 2 year extended for the 360 for like 29$ but its mail in.

    lol

    :)
  6. Dont waste your money on xbox360, ps3 owns it and is way better spend the lil extra on ps3
  7. I own Xbox360, PS3 does own it. One of the reasons xbox 360 is cheaper is that you don't get anything with it. For instance if you wanna use wireless you gotta buy an $80 adaptor. If you want HD (I'm not sure why anymore) then you have to spend like $150. If you wanna play online you have to buy a membership (xbox live, can't remember how much). With PS3 its already capable of playing bluray, wireless adaptor is included and online gaming is free.

  8. you have to spend 150 to get HD? what you talkin bout willis
  9. if you buy the pro xbox you do still have to buy some cable thing, and of course the subscription, and 1 other thing, but it is worth it, much better than ps3

also, i am not sure what you're talking about on the hd, unless that is if you buy the basic one or something

  10. He is talking about HD movies(high Definition) not HD as in hard drive.
  11. i know that, but i still don't know what he is talking about buying

edit - i will keep my mouth shut, as my husband just told me we did buy it, sorry

  12. do yourself a favor and get the warranty/service plan. about 90% of xboxs go bad, ie. ring of death, overheating, etc. the 30 bucks is well worth it
  13. TY for the responses. It is $29 for a 2 year warranty, I'm thinking that I should just go with it.

  14. i would get the service plan; i got the 2 year warranty and after about a year i got the red ring...took it into best buy and they just gave me a new one
  15. Get the service plan and register for xbox for sure aswell. The red ring of death is inevitable...
