So I plan on buying my first xbox on black friday and wasn't sure which one to get..hoping some people with experience on here can help. I never really was into video games but had played some cod at a friends over the past year and decided I will actually use it enough now to justify the purchase. I would play COD (probably go thru all the games just to catch up to speed), BF3, Madden, and idk what else. Target has the 4GB on sale foe 139 which seemed great since I'm not much of a 'gamer.' I've been hearing that 4GB goes pretty quickly and that I'm better off with the 250gb bundle from best buy(hate best buy lines)
Some places say you can configure up to 2 16gb flash drives and have 36gb others say you can't. Tho I do know you can purchase the 250gb hard drive for 90 bucks on amazon. So what's ur take OT??? -
Not sure best/cheapest way to add memory for xbox but 4 gigs isn't even enough for one game depending on the size.
My ps3 is like 60 and every time I buy a game I have to delete shut just to make room -
Does the HD on amazon fit the slim? Wouldn't think so. Someone else will be able to help more, but do not waste you're time playing old COD, just get the new one.

I have the 4gb one and it's fine for me. I only have 3-4 games going usually though
-
I know there is an xbox branded HD that works. I was only going to play the campaigns since I would just use the games my friends dont play anymore.
Is that including downloading new maps and whatnot -
get the MW3 Bundle if you can get it on sale somewhere. it's 320 gb

BF3 is like 1.5 gigs for the installed texture pack before you even save the game. 4 GB would be tough imo. I have a 120 gb and I'm constantly having to delete stuff to make room. I'm kind of a habitual downloader of demos and trailers and stuff though.

Starting to look like the 250gb is the best option
-
The 4gb is for system settings and console updates only. Get a HDD.
-
250
-
I went 4gb and wish I woulda went 250. With the bigger you can install your games to make them quicker and can play your scratched discs.
-
i go back and forth between 5-7 games instead of just playing 1 game so 4gb would not even be an option for me lol
-
I got the 4GB for free with my computer and its been fine for me, but I'm not very much of a gamer. If you're playing heaps of MW3 and have to download a lot of map packs or whatever I'm sure its not a very good option.

You can use any HDD on the xbox so there may be cheaper alternatives than gettins a 250gb

Xbox 720 is going to be released early 2012. You may want to wait.

Well F-me.
