    Had a friend who I met in the old BBS days way back when. We would speak on the phone quite often in the old days, but as our lives got more complicated not as often. I called him last week to talk about the Yankees win and knew something was wrong the minute a strange voice answered the phone.

    "Tim passed on a few weeks ago," said the friendly voice.

    So Tim, my old friend, RIP.

    If you have a friend you havent spoken to in a while, give them a call, you never know when you won't have another chance.
