  1. I have just recieved 3 Fireman Sam DVD's for my 3 year old that he has been eagerly awaiting ( 6 weeks ), but when inserting into player they will not play. The error is "Region error", and when trying to run it in my computer it says something along the line of " can not play back in this part of the world".

    First of all WTF!!
Second, is there anyway around this? God I hope so, because I have a very angry little man to explain that the nice "English" people ( who I paid 39 pounds to for 3 lousy vids) were not smart enough to realise that I live in the F_$%ing US.

I believe I am humped, but any help would be appreciated.
  2. I'm no techie, but a quick search would seem to indicate that dvd manufacturers enable region codes into their dvd players. You need to clear yours...They are based on your specific dvd player. You need to find the code for your dvd player and go from there.

^^^That's just one of the websites that seems to have codes. I'd do some due diligence as I am not vouching for that (or any) website that offers dvd codes.

    Good luck...
