    After further thought, I came up with the following:

    Not a single comedy came to mind (with the exception of American History X, obv), but if I listed those they'd be:

    Alan from The Hangover
    McLovin
    Ron Burgundy
    Jeff Lebowski

    I think Landa and Chigurh are my favorite movie villains of all time. Randy the Ram is my favorite tragic hero.

    That is Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh in No Country For Old Men. Very good movie, but not for everyone. He is definitely in the argument for best villain ever, though.
