Im posting this because I believe a lot of people on p5's have similar beliefs, interests and thoughts in their heads that I do.
This is the best thing I have ever seen.
I can't believe I put it off for 2 months since a buddy first pushed it onto me.
I watched it today, and will probably have to watch it again before I go to sleep tonight.
Whether you've heard about this before and put it off, or are hearing about this for the first time, do yourself a favor and watch it!
Im not here to change anyones opinion.
I will tell you now, this movie bashes religion, the 9/11 cover up and has an amazing look at money and it's power.
Although this movie is not for everyone, I promise that after seeing it, a lot of people will agree, this is the best thing they've ever seen.
To watch the movie search the title of this post and from the movie's website you watch it just like a video on youtube.
Enjoy, I'm certain you will.
Anyone seen it and have comments? -

Although I certainly don't believe everything that is in that movie, I'm waaaaaaay more apt to believe that religion is based on astronomy than I am to believe a bearded guy walked on water.

if you're gonna waste your energy on conspiracy jargon pick something fun like UFOs or the JFK assassination. 9/11 is just stupid.

It is amazing to me that people put full faith in a video that has been refuted over and over and over again.
The reason so many who are lost dive head first into this video is that they have never made a concerted effort to find answers in their life, and it is wonderfully easy to simply buy into this as "evidence" that Christianity is one big conspiracy/myth.
If you spent half as much energy being open minded you would be unable to escape the fact that the life of Jesus Christ was documented by historians who were not even Christians. There is written and archaelogical evidence of his life, documented by scholars and historians both Christian and non Christian.
Now I ask you, what's more logical that one man with an agenda magically pieced it all together to put in a video or that centuries of historical evidence written by hundreds of authors and scholars both Christian and non Christian is all one big fraud?
Whether you choose to believe that Jesus Christ was the son of God or a normal man that preached love and kindness, isn't your world filled with more hope and joy if you allow for the concept that the entirety of our lives isn't an accident?
I wish everyone peace and happiness in their lives, it is just terribly difficult to see so many make such silly statements that the Bible is a "fairy tale" or a "myth".
When you make these statements or hang your hat on videos refuted by a zillion people it does two things. It shows you have not really looked for answers comprehensively, and in my humble opinion almost forces yourself to have a viewpoint that is closed minded towards ever considering that there may be more to life than just what you see past the tip of your nose.
Christians are constantly bombarded with the accusations that we "push" ourselves on others, when in fact we face constant harassment from those who seek to bring us down to their level of disbelief.
I have love in my life. I care for others, and the message I get every week in church is one of loving my fellow man. I have hope, I have tolerance of other peoples beliefs, and I never push anything on anyone. As a Christian I am taught to reach out to others and spread the word of Christ when the opportunity arrises. I don't do so as a zealot or as some professed expert.
I have many many things still to learn about the life of Jesus, but I can tell you that I have never had more peace in my life than in the last few years that I found a good church with a minister who is not condescending and every week provides my family with a message of love and caring that we use to have a foundation for our lives.
I wish everyone that same joy.

Do you believe that Jesus Christ walked on water? And if so, why do you believe this? (serious question)

Kev, do yourself a favor and google the numerous number of scholars who refute zeitgeist. Once you see that a huge amount of the "mythology" he states is completely fabricated or quoted with absolutely no historical reference you will see what I'm talking about.
For the record, numerous atheists disavow themselves from zeitgeist. -
i have been an atheist as long as i can remember and if 1/10 of zeitgeist is true it blows religion out of the water and the rest of the movie is interesting and alot of the things he says are eye opening eg: i have never heard of WTC 7 until today
