    Hi guys,

    My name is Brandon, and I'm known online as "shanetrain22" and “theshanetrain”. I've been a professional MTTer since 2009, and have also been coaching MTTs for about 2.5 years. You can check out my P5’s coaching profile here.

    I’m going to be taking in a group of low and midstakes players who are looking for staking, while also providing them with multiple group coaching sessions every week. For those interested in being a part of this, here are the requirements necessary to apply:

    A: Have a verified account, under your own name, on at least 2 of the following poker networks: pokerstars, partypoker, merge, 888, ipoker.

    B: You must have availability to play poker an average of 20hrs a week. The more, the better.

    C: You will commit to a year-long backing and coaching deal with me and the investors.

    D: You will follow guidelines as to what to play, what limits, and complete a pre-established schedule of play.

    E: You will attend the scheduled coaching sessions provided by me or other possible instructors I may invite.

    F: You won't have any kind of side arrangements with other backers to play different games than those you have been approved for, unless a special agreement is reached beforehand.

    G: If you have had any kind of issue with the security department of any poker site, you will not be eligible.

    H: Your statistics should be available for review on Sharkscope, ThepokerDB, OPR, PTR, etc.

    I: Have a minimum of 1,500 games played between all of your accounts, with a positive ROI, and a average buy in of at least 10$.

    J: Any positive references from respected members of the online poker community that you can provide will help your chances of being eligible.

    What I offer:

    -Weekly coaching sessions, with me and/or other scheduled instructors. These sessions will be done using Skype and Team Viewer, and will consist of HH reviews, overall strategy, leak finding, etc, and specifics like: stack management, game selection, early-mid-late stage strategy, basic-to-complex mathematical concepts, hand ranging, hand selection, bankroll management, etc.

    -Backing for MTTs and SNGs.

    Your limits will be set, and moved up or down, according to your performance, volume, improvement, work ethic, reliability, results, etc.

    hey shanetrain, my name is bryan, i'm 27 years old and i think i would be a good candidate for the stake your offering. i fit all the requirements and have been a winner on pretty much every site i've played on. i have good stats on stars and tilt and have been playing online since back in the party poker days. i am willing to be staked for a year and am always trying to improve my game. i can easily play 20 hours per week and more like any where from 30-50. i'm looking just to play mtt's and my goal is to be playing the highest buy-ins online

    Dear Brandon, i like to get stacked by u guys ,but my results are not postive at the moment.
    i am active in online poker since 2011,however i know i will and am determened to become a pro
    player as soon as possible.
    currently ROI is -10 % but i can give a good reason why i am not a winning player at the moment.
    Check my results and hopefully u will see that i am dedicated, still need some proffesional training or tips.
    Intend to play as much as possible and even 12-18 hours per session will not scare me off.
    i am new here at pocket fives but i know this site almost as long as i am active as a online player.
    reading many hours a week all about poker, to improve my game.
    Am very aware that if i hook up with other topplayers or a backingteam like yours will improve my game and chances to achieve my goal (become a pro).

    at first i thought i can and will achieve this all by myself ,but after readind and reading i came to the conclusion that getting backed is not bad at all.
    i follow and track several online winners , for instance Uhhmee(Ami Barer) and Schennie (a dutch backed pro doing better and better ever since he got backed)
    both playing at pokerstars.

    Hey Brandon, I am a US poker player. I used to grind FTP and Stars however cannot anymore. Took about a year off and then began grinding on Carbon again (MTT and SNGs). I am a reliable player with a proven track record on all sites. With a little coaching, I am looking to take my game to the next level. I am a positive player who understands the mindset of poker (variance and suckouts happen and do not phase me). I am looking to build a bankroll to eventually play on my own money, accordingly a 1 to 2 year stake is just what I am looking for to build my bankroll.     Hey everyone, thanks again for the detailed PMs.

    In regards to US players: We're currently only adding non-US players to our group. There was a limited number of spots for Merge grinders to begin with, and they've been filled for now... so if you don't hear back from me, that's why.

    That said, feel free to continue sending PMs if you're an American player because eventually some spots might open up.
