    Who I am
    I'm Bignate904 on FTP. I currently play full time as well as run a small stable and coach my horses. I have a high success rate of turning small profit/break even/losing players into respectable winners. I'm currently looking to add hard working determined players to my team.

    What I'm looking for I'm looking for players who want to get better at poker. I do glance at past stats but I'm more interested in what you're going to be doing in the future. I will work as hard as you do to make sure you get there. You need to be able to dedicate 20 hours+ a week to poker. Not only playing but learning.

    I'm willing to work with players who haven't been on the site for longer then 6 months. Please reply in this thread as well as send me a PM. Anyone who doesn't follow these directions will automatically be rejected.

    How to apply
    I need you to send me links of your OPR. Click the links to make sure they work. You must answer all questions and follow all rules of the 2+2 marketplace. You should send me 3 complete tourney hand history's of the games or games like the ones for which you are applying via email. (Ask in PM) I do not accept anyone without looking through hand history's. I hold 3 group lessons a week. It is mandatory you attend at least one of these lessons.(May attend all 3 and there is no cost) You will be required to send in weekly screen shots of your account. You also need to post your screen names in this thread.

    Games I'm currently accepting applicants for.
    I'm looking for stars players. 1$ 45's 2.5$ 180s. I will be aggressive in moving you up. I want to teach you the ins and outs of these games and make sure you are ready to play. As soon as you show you can beat these games and I see it in your hand history I will move you up very quickly. I also allow you to mix in some MTT's up to the buy in you're allowed to play. The ratio of games must be favored highly to MTSNG.

    This may not affect the Stakees but I'd just like to let any potential investors know that Bignate904 (currently playing as 'chilli1231' on pokerstars) stole $2500 from me.

    We agreed the $2500 would give me 25% share of his staking group. The first few weeks went fine and he provided irregular updates which I had to constantly request. But soon after I no longer heard from him. No emails, not available on Skype.

    If anyone would like his personal details/background/family member's personal details & background, just PM me.

    Hi, I was the other investor for $2500 and have just come across this thread using google as he hasn't replied to my recent email. How long since you have heard from him? His last update to me was Oct 13th.

    Oh and please send me all the information you have on him.

    My last email from him was 22nd Oct 2011.
    I'm in contact with 2p2 moderators and they'll be attempting to contact him.
    I'll let them handle it and see if we can resolve this matter.
    At first I was going to write this off as bad investment but with the two of us, $5000 might be worth taking legal action against him. I'm situated in Melbourne, same city as him. So if things don't the way we like, I'll take it to court. Even if we don't get the money back we might be able to leave a bad mark on his stay in Australia (he's visiting from US to hopefully continue his poker 'career'). So losing $5000 to deny him his VISA, I'm satisfied with that.

    Any way you can track him down or something if you live in the same city? Just to find out what's going on. I have his girlfriends name who he was living with when I first spoke to him on Sept 7th. MAybe try to give him a phone call or something? I'm in England so feeling kinda helpless. Although there could be a reasonable explanation for the lack of communication I think trying to get in touch with him and find out proper what's gone on before making judgement is what's needed. I have the names of three of his stakees I will try to contact.

    Feel free to start a thread in the Poker Community forum on this if you want. It will get more views there than here. BigNate seemed like a good guy, so sincerely hoping there is another side to this story, however, it does look pretty bad from what is being said here.

    Don't post anymore, haven't played much since BF but....

    I've been in business with Nate (in the past) and first and foremost P5s cannot let this guy advertise here. He may not be a full blown scam artist but any opportunity he gets he will take for his personal benefit, without question.

    So anyways...

    I've met him IRL ( a long long time ago) and he seemed OK - besides the tattoo of a naked girl with a gun on his forearm.... A lifetime ago I was involved in some business with Nate (won't go into much detail) but long story short he cannot be trusted. I would never recommend nor do business with him ever again. The main vibe you get from this guy is that he is out to get his own, and doesn't care who it affects along his way. I can personally guarantee any1 who goes into business with him will have to deal with bullshit, and likely get ripped off along the process.

    Long story short - Nathan told me of someone to back. Essentially he was friends with a player who needed money to play a few tournaments, and out of the goodness of my heart I buy the dude into ONE tournament... anyways, while dude is getting sick deep in a big event, ONLY THEN does Nate text me saying he is owed 10% of profits due to his end of the deal (after all, he brought the horse to me right?) Anyways, I clearly told him no gfy if you wanted to discuss this it was to be done before the tournament.... Dude ends up cashing pretty big and Nate at this point will not let it go that he is owed money. Threats such as "I'll e-mail the sites and lie to them about you cheating so you get banned" or "I'll make a post about you" were dished out by him in effort to get something out of me. It was just a hell situation and I would never ever again do business with Nate.

    The whole fucked up part about it, nate and I were mutual friends through poker before this happened, and he knew of someone who needed help and I was in a financial position to do so. But nate only confronted me about "what he was owed" after the guy starts making money in a big tournament... It's like, if the horse ran bad and busted early, I would have never had to deal with Nate's bullshit, Nate saw an opportunity to make money and he took it.

    At the moment I'm reluctant to provide any information to forum users other than moderators in case Nathan or his sympathisers may use it to his advantage.

    If/when it becomes apparent that forum moderators (here, 2p2, etc.) are unable to smoke him out of hiding, then I will provide all the info I know publicly so that we may all decide on how to best use said info to make his poker/real life a little less comfortable.

    Nate - please respond to this thread. The evidence on 2+2 looks damning with 2 people out $5k and 2 people out $2.5k each being told it was a $10K total investment. Very sketchy if true.

    People that were potentially scammed, were you scammed due to activity in this thread or just bringing to the communities attention?

    not like I'm a highly respected member of the community or anything but Nate certainly was shady in the business he conducted with me and it comes as NO SURPRISE people are having financial issues with Nate...

    also fwiw wacky, he won't admit he's wrong and he won't come in here paying anyone back, ever - that's just Nate for you
