  1. Thinking of playing a live reentry tourney in a few weeks. This is not a rebuy tourney and no addon. Must go broke to reenter.

Buyin is at the top of my range. I would be okay with a reentry or two but nothing more.

Don't know if I should be treating this like a rebuy. I would never go into a rebuy without enough money to get through the rebuy period. In a rebuy I would have a minimum of 10 buyins and probably a lot more.

At what point would you say it is not worth it to reenter? The last level you can reenter at is 75/300/600 and you only get 20k in chips.

Am I okay playing this with no more than 3 buyins or should I skip it?

  2. Give it a shot imo, just play solid and only re-enter if you have to. If the buyin is high enough I doubt ppl will be going crazy with the reentries so 3 should be plenty
  3. If its the dusk till dawn monthly deepstack or similar event ther the structure is actually pretty decent, so there is definately no need to go crazy, I'd Jst play it like a normal fo with the bonus that if you get cold decked you don't have to go home.

From what I can remember not many ppl re enter. If it is the monthly deepstack me and fabaz will see you there.

edit just seen your from the US ignore my post lolol fyi if any1 is playing at dusk till dawn then the above might be useful

Not sure if I will go. It is over a 5 hour drive. I am a big PLO8 player and they have a tourney on the 12th if I don't make Day 2 of the reentry.

Just over an hour away is Soaring Eagle and they have satellites for the Hartland Poker Tour starting on the 11th also. Satellites have a good structure and are fairly easy. The main event structure sucks though.

  6. you should be plenty good w/ 3 buyins bc the dealers are typically horrid so it's not like you're getting a shitton of hands an hour. but if you happen to run super bad, you'll still want to keep rebuying bc the field is pretty soft.
