  1. Whats the deal with this guy? I dont know what it is, but watching him do so well really tilts me. He wins every coinflip and seems to run over the table in showdown %, but is he actually a good player or just on a sick heater? Would love insight from people who have played with him before.
  2. I suppose it could be a heater but he has a pretty strong resume over the last 2 years or so.
  3. Confirmed busto

He's certainly been on a crazy tear. Reigning WPT Player of the Year and now a two-time bracelet winner.

  5. Gotta be doing something right, although it does seem like the guy runs absurd in flips

  6. did u guys see his pans while winning, that was so tilting watching this.
and i dont really think he is that sick of a player, just runs like shit
  7. looked like a huge tool with sunglasses on the head, and then after dinner break sunglasses on middle of the shirt
  8. after seeing is attiude here i agree hes a douche

yep pretty sad how some ppl run in these live donkaments
  11. hes painful to watch
  12. He's obviously dangerous with a stack, is running supremely well, and has some holes in his fundamentals (QQ hand, A7 hand against Mizzi).

IMO though, Frankenberger is absolutely right here and has every right to say exactly what he said here and hes not being out of line here because hes just defending his play and himself here, regardless if the play he made was right or wrong.
  14. pink trousers r awful

  15. He's really good imo
  16. The guy has 2 WSOP bracelets, Beat Phil Ivey heads up to win one of them. A WPT Tittle 3 WPT Fts and a is the defending WPT player of the year. I think its a little more then running good at flips or just a heater. Not saying he is the best in the world ( although he did beat the best in the world heads for a 10k WSOP bracelet ) But he is obviously a great player and who can win a MTT without winning some keys flips?

  17. Ok, but you watched the hand above right? 5b/folding QQ for 2/3s of your stack says more than beating phil ivey hu once imo. Good for him tho.

  18. With so many good results i agree he cant be that bad. He prolly trusts his guts a lot, if he fixes some very important leaks (the qq decision is def a no-go) he could crush the world i guess.

I think winning a 10k WSOP bracelet vs a stacked field and Beating Ivey heads up says more then one hand he played bad imo

I'm not gonna take one hand and determine a guys entire game by it. The play was obv horrid. We have all made plays we are not proud of and learned from after the hand. I assume you are saying he has not learned anything from this hand, That he would play this hand again like this in this spot or that you have never made a horrid play? Also the guy has not been around long. How early in his career did this happen?

  20. Ya I guess you might be right, that hand just screams button masher though.

  21. Anyone that can get Ivey to not shove the river on the K high hand when he has no showdown value is obviously having an impact on his opponents that helps him win. Ivey tanked for the longest time and just could not figure out where Frankenberger was at. That hand was the pivotal turning point of the match. As for his personality I hate the guy - he is a whiny arrogant bastard but his results speak for themselves. You simply don't have that success by living in a luckbox
  22. Def looked like huuuuge chip dumping to me when i first saw that, but it seems like the points just affected him in a huge way... But im surprised nobody was talking about chip dumping though...
