    Im giong to be heading out to Calgary before winter is over for a 2week Live Cash Game Poker trip with some breaks for epic snowboarding in the rockies.

    I know Calgary has SIX casinos... so I need the low-down on where the better games are, what times of day/week is better for each casino etc etc. So first of all I want information. Mostly gonna be playing 2-5, 5-5 and 5-10 but willing to play higher if the game is good.

    Does anyone live and play lots of cash games in Calgary? Does anyone know anyone who does that? Any info in appreciated , thanks!


    Some people go to the oil fields to make their oil money... im gonna go to the poker table to get my cut of that dirty money.

    Me and a buddy overnighted in Calgary a few weeks ago before heading down to Vegas.

    We rented a car and played cards all night.

    at 11pm on a Tuesday night we hit to deerfoot first but there was only one 2-5 going so we played three shoes of Blackjack and then headed over to the Stampede Casino.

    All 1-2 three tables going. Played for 6hrs at the Stampede I was up 6 buyins my Buddie was up 3.

    We left there at 3am and played limit omaha for two hrs at elbow river.

    The locals we talked to said next time we are there to check out the grey eagle casino cause its good also.
