  1. just kicking this around but I'm thinking about taking a month or two and heading to vegas, anyone have any tips on the best place to stay if your going to be on an extended trip? They have to have long term discounts right? I'm playing mostly low level no limit hold-em and plo so i don't expect to get a super amount of comps. I would probably put in a bout 60-70 hrs at the tables a week. I'm guessing I'll have to call around to get exact prices but hoping you guys can help with suggestions on what the best places to check for extended stay rate cuts would be.

***btw life bills (including food\hotel in Vegas) are paid for, not looking to do that through poker winnings, this is not that thread lol***

So far i've gotten "The Americas" as an acceptable hotel that cuts rates (by the Tropicana)

  2. Ideally rent a furnished place for those two months if at all possible. Might be tougher to track down/set up but is def worth looking into. Hotels will just rape the crap out of you and should be a last resort option. If you have a car don't worry about being off strip either because you'll save some money there.

Look for something with a kitchen at least. 2 months of eating out, even with comps, is a budget breaker as well. (if the BTW means you already have that part covered, it really doesn't matter. Maybe you should move around a couple of times during the stay and get some different views and spread the wealth)
