    The wiff and I are thinking about making an overnight rat run on the bike Wed or Thurs. and I'm thinking about checking out the Downstream Casino on the Kan/Mizzou/Okla border. Wondering if anyone has some intel on the poker room, the online reviews I've seen are pretty dated. Just want to make sure I don't ride for 3 hours and find an empty poker room with no action. Yeah I know I could call them with questions, but I trust you degenerates. Can anyone help a brother out here?

    Yes I have been there. Its a relatively small casino but a very nice poker room. several tables no big big stakes but they do occasionally get a 5/10 NL game going. Mostly 1/2 and 2/4. The players are soft dont try to bluff they will call you down with nothing lol. nice hotel and Joplin is close for food and shopping.

    ^^^^^This. Just finished a trip to SW Missouri and stopped in. Also, the steakhouse is superb. Get the 24 oz. bone-in ribeye.

    Are there usually 1/2 or 2/5 games going during the day and evening or is it like some of these small Indian casinos where the same 15 farmers show up for the evening tournament and it's dead the rest of the time?
