    So, i just turned 19 a little over a month ago and im finally legal in Ontario!! Time to play my first big live tourni?... i think so !!

    In february, Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls is having there annual series made up of 3 main events.. a 1k, 2.5k, and 5k . Each of them are 2 days events, and last year the winners took approx. 150k+, 220k, 300k+ . Noott badd at all...

    I hear that the fields are pretty soft especially in the 1k, if anyone attended last year and has any info on structure, field sizes, sats, or anything worth mentioning drop a message !!

    how big is the fields?

    gp i see you play the 180's, why dont you grind 9man or 6man sng? just curious what you think about them? im a toronto boy tryin to make it like you lolol

    I hear the 1k has a 600 player cap and it usually fills up so try to register early if you can! The 2.5k probably got less than 300, and the 5k last year had around 85 players..

    And acabet101 you can pm me if you wanna talk about game selection or have any questions

    North of Toronto, about a 25 minute drive to QEW so im looking at 1 hour and a half.. maybe more depending on the weather but i was planning to drive...

    Im going to niagara soon so ill see exactly how the drive is it shouldn't be too bad

    If your going to play the 1k, make sure you register quick.

    Hopefully they changed the rules, but last year, people were buying multiple(some people i heard bought 20+) seats and were selling them for more than their value.

    Also, the blind structure sucks for the 1k.. Good luck

    Im gonna register for the 1k this month.. and go play satellites for the 2.5k and 5k ...
    And ya i heard people were scalping seats last year but i think that they made a cap on how many seats you can buy this year - 4 .

    And the blind structure is the same for all 3 you just start with less chips in the 1k... and its the same as last year even though a lot of people complained.

    The drive will be a breeze for you at the time of day that you will be on it (obv weather permitting).

    lol @ letting people purchase 4 tickets for an MTT they can only play 1x.

    prob not gonna even bother if the floor/TD's are already that stupid.

    Is this thing seriously sold out already?

    I literally cant believe they would let people buy multiple tickets. That is so fucking stupid. They are encouraging people to scalp these tickets at no benefit to themselves, just to the detriment of people who want to play the event

    Yup the 1k is sold out, and of course i couldn't get myself a seat !! So, now im pretty much stuck having to go down there and let some random guy profit off me to get in.. or i just wont play it... You'll also see me in the super satellites for the 2.5k and 5k

    I wonder how big the demand is? I assume there was enough last year otherwise they wouldn't be buying them up this year.
    But the thought of these guys getting stuck with seats would be cool and pick them up for discount

    finally got my ticket for the 1k really excited for my first "big" event !! Will be playing the 2.5k and 5k mega satellites as well! Who else is playing and what events ?

    Also, what are the starting stacks and blind structure cant seem to find any info on it ??

    you need to ask the floor to show you a structure sheet, also, they won't let you keep it.

    It's kind of stupid that they don't have structure sheets available for players to take or to even look at online. They have no plans on making them available for the public. When I asked the lady working the desk as to if they'd ever have it available, she looked at me as if i was stupid and told me 'no, we dont do that here.'

    lol @ this place, its pretty awful.

    Horribly-run Fallsview Casino let greedy scalpers keep rebuying 8-50 entries. In previous years, this resulted in some desperate fish willing to overpay $1,500 or more just to play in the sold-out event. If there are too many scalpers and not enough stupid people this year, the price could plummet well below $1K. This is what happened at another Ontario Casino (Point Edward) when I bought an entry coin below face value; not only did I get to play with an overlay but I cashed!

    Fallsview claims that the $275 super satellite entries have sold out (scalpers again?), so the $550 satellite and $2,500 event may sell out too. To those who go, please post a trip report on this Fallsview clusterf*ck, including fake vouchers and the police investigating.

    ya i heard people bought tickets last minute for less than 1k so some scalpers got skrewed!

    Played the 1k, structure was pretty terrible but the field was soft, got it in with AA vs 55 pre flop for 25bbs, crazy big stack hit a set on the turn of course ... oh well
