He literally adjusts to his competition better than anybody on the planet. He basically dominated the whole tournament and anybody that went deep will tell you that.

agreed, bad press cos hes a tool when it doesnt go his way but 13 bracelets is so boss, and at that FT of big names and sick NLHE big guns hes prooved that hes a boss end of!!

  6. gotta love him though
  7. Iv always liked helmuth and his winnings just prove his dominance in NLH, his blow ups are memerable and funny but when it comes down to business hes the best and his braclets prove that.
  8. mutch respect

  9. My how the opinions of the internet boards have changed...

    Congrats Phil, very well done!
  10. But most of these young cats who play the high stakes mtts and are constantly in debt to their backer are better than him. If you dont believe me....just ask them.
  11. My favorite Tweet about this came from poker reporter BJ Nemeth: "@phil_hellmuth may be old school, but he won 4 of his @WSOP bracelets in the last 7 years. How many new-school critics can match that?"

  12. I use not to be (and he used to suck) but im a fan of his now

    GOAT

also, I watched from 3handed and that was some of the most entertaining thrash talking / poker / commentary (Antonio being baffled at how well Phil was playing LOL)

    lol perfect

I think phil's actual poker game is ego-less and that's his biggest strength. he's obv all ego when it comes to table talk and every level above the cards. but knowing that, I'd take hellmuth in a live tourny over lots of the biggest online MTT winners
  20. anyone know where the ft can be watched?

  21. ya.... i really wanna see this FT.
  22. espn3.com

probably most of the top 100 here have better poker brains than hellmuth, but hellmuth as the live game sussed probably better than just about anyone.
  24. anyone know anywhere to watch this?? tried espn3 but not there
