  1. Hello all, hope the wsop is treating everyone well back at home. I am on a trip throughout Europe and am going to have a week span where I will be alone. I would really like to get some help on where I can find a solid, safe casino where I can play hold em. Preferably 2-5 but 1-2 or even tournaments would be fine also. I am going to need to be in Munich at the end of the week so the closer to Munich the better. I thought there were casinos there but everyone I walked into was just a bullshit slot room with video poker. Any advice on a good place to play would be incredibly helpful. I cant check in too often cause I am going from hostel to hostel and some of the places dont get it but I will definitely be able to check in before the week alone comes up. Thanks a lot.

  2. From what I know, there isn't much poker in Munich. My sister in-law lives there, and don't remember seeing anything there. Hopefully another poster can be more helpful.

Here are some links with info with casinos within an hour or so drive from Munich.

If you are going to be in other places in Europe, I might be able to give better advice than here.
  3. yeah I can be near Munich bot not in Munich. If I go to Monte Carlo how much is it going to cost per night and will I be able to play enough poker for a room? I know nothing about poker in europe so the more information the better.

  4. If going off to Monte Carlo, you might be better off finding a cheap place in Nice, France than staying in Monte Carlo. Monte Carlo at a minimum will be 120 Euros a night (Novotel), and might be more during the summer. Fancy places will start at double that. In Nice though, you should be able to find a place just to crash much cheaper.

You should be able to find some good poker there, but haven't been there in awhile to know the stakes. Will try to google it, but have to run and just saw this post.

There is decent poker in Germany, but just not in Munich itself.
  5. So all I can find for poker in Germany is casino Aachen and Baden-Baden. Baden-Baden you have to wear a shirt and tie which I didnt bring on the trip so that could be tough. Aachen doesnt even list anything about poker it just says you will love the poker. Any German players who can help me out here or at least have a better place to go?
