I'm gonna go ahead and agree with Theman. Even if you think you have the advantage, the blinds are very high in relation to your and everyone else's stack. You might lknow push fold better than them but one bad beat (like you took) and you're out. It's good you have the mentality to go for the win, but I definitely think it's the safer play to chop it out and take the chunk of money, without risking getting less because of a bad beat or something of that sort. Congrats on the deep run!

Just keep saying no chop until they offer you a deal that's too stupid to refuse.

picking off blinds , too rebuild the numerous showdowns i lost was common[otherwise i would've had more chips] and i did this with a simple raise, also about the push fold, my kk bet was the setting tone for this but i didnt get the chance too

yea DKyan I didnt want to assume that you weren't doing that because there are tons of ways to get to that spot and I don't remember reading any mention of your table image at the time. It is a big leak for a lot of people so i thought it warranted mentioning. I hope you weren't in any way offended, that wasn't my intention.

as far as me playn too make money?!?1?!!!! yah of course!! do i travel to 60 dollar events ? this was 60 invested but the seat value was more,it was an advancement from a satty ,it was a 10k gtd on 60 players max, do the math.
they did 30 min blinds and it was a decently structured mtt, i would def play these more often if they were available. -
most people play because they enjoy the game and I assumed that was your main reason for being there. I mean I figured you werent there to light your money on fire, lol. what I meant was that you weren't grinding these for a living, should have worded that differently.

honestly dgiliis, if this structure was available daily, i would grind them at $60 per,but nobody out there is going too have a 10k gtd 60 buy in on a daily basis at 30 min blinds that weren't doubling up , allowing for a 5 hour tourney,i assume they throw smthn once a month at this place, worth watchn out for ,its not far from me either.

As long as you have an strong edge you really should never chop unless they give you a sweet deal.
Keep in mind, there is no enforcement of deal making in most casinos so the winner could just walk away and not give you your deal you agreed to. -
always chop the local when 3rd place money and huge blinds.
Then take the 800 and put it on red -
Like Shawdeep I was in the same situation last week. Small tourney in Indiana, got down to five and I had double the chips second had. They wanted to chop. I KNEW beyond a shadow of a doubt I could outplay all except possibly one guy. He had made two calls way ahead and lost big pots. Second was playing LAG, and likely to make hero calls. The other two were weak and folded to pressure.
Took me about two seconds to figure with blinds increasing as they were one if I lost race I lost my control of the table. Agreed to a chop, with my taking a larger share than the others.
