-
This looks juicy... I might be heading up north for a few of the smaller event's Is the re-entry going to be like the one at the fl championship of poker at the isle?
Just wondering. And is there a structure sheet available? -
not yet i dont think, but once i get my hands on one ill post it
-
GL all tha play, hopefully a P5er takes down the ME.
I love having a poker room named after me. One day will visit the Jax poker room when visiting friends in Florida.
-
might be cool if you're going just for poker. Otherwise, no reason to go to Duvall County, it's home to like, 3rd highest crime/murder rate in FL lol.
-
Yea not the safest area in Florida.
-
its not even in duval lol
-
LOL
-
its clay county
-
duval county doin it big all day long. but real talk nothing special about the jax poker room in OP or racetrack road, pretty bad players there tho. excited for the new room to be opened in the near future. rumors are in a year or two a wpt 10K buy in ME will be coming around. that will b good for the city.

I just moved away from Jacksonville and I can say it is the best place i've ever lived and I've been all over. Not sure if the WPT event is going to be at the Orange Park or St. Johns Poker room but don't judge Jacksonville as a whole on the area around the Orange Park dog track/poker room. There are some great bars in the downtown area, the town center area, and the beaches. I recommend staying away from the orange park area and you'll enjoy it a lot more.
-
thx for heads up if I ever end up goin.
n yes 18 to play, its FL. -
I can not post the link from my phone, but the structure sheet is up on the web site. Pretty sick structure it goes from 1 hr levels day 1 the 90 min on day two.
Just google jaxpokerroom -
also, just about 35mins away is UNF area, which around there has tons of very nice bars and stuff like Chesse cake factory and all high class stuff.
-
Ill be there for the first couple events. any guess how many total runners in that first $350 with 2 start days?

The last WPT event with this buy in had a total of a lil over 500 ppl

There are a bunch of hotels in the general area, with all ranges of pricing. The whole area is generally safe.

5/10 they just upped the limits 500"min 3000 max. Couple strong regulars very easy to spot they all look 18.

Hey iCON, Is today the Final Table? If so anyone from p5 there? And whats the payouts. I can't seem to find any info on it on the poker room website.
And, How did you end up doing man? -
DFISH just busted in 6th apparently. Final table is on 30min. delay if you want to watch it at the WPT website.
-
sigh, running deep then not getting the "score", esp when it happens a few times in a short span, is probably one of the more annoying things in poker.
big ups to DFish n my boy BigAce223 who unfortunately FT bubbled after crushing the MTT since it started, for deep runs again for both. Hopefully, you both get the "big scores" you should get for playing well (I hate using the word deserve in poker)
Nicely done by BostonTony to ship this though.
Few things were weird, like posting in an MTT, but, overall, well run series. Hopefully April's will be even better.
