    I was sitting at the table right next to him when this went down... crazy. He's a reg so I don't feel as resentful as others do. The guy who loss with quad aces was also a regular and I have played with him many times, he deserved it. Every one at the table took home 16grand. Pretty sick. I was on the tail end of a 12 hour session when it hit, def marked the end of my sesh lol. Good for james woods. He was great in too big to fail. Ah the jackpot will be up high enough soon.

    Synnah that was me out on the patio telling you to stop beating yourself up. HOW you fold your cards, literally where they land in the muck and what angle effects the order of the cards when the go into the shuffler, which order effects every future shuffle. That bad beat does not happen if you stay at that table, or if one does, it's a totally different one. You can't kick yourself about it. And yeah, there was a lot of grumbling going on in that casino, not mean-spirited or spiteful, but just the all-us-working-slobs-building-a-500K-jackpot-one-buck-at-a-time spiel and then the richest guy in the joint walks with a 125K. Of course forgetting that 1 other slob walked with 250 and 8 more took the other 125. Still, I'll make a million bucks selling t-shirts on that floor that say nothing more than "James Mother F#cking Woods". NH jimmy.

    hey daddio, i hear ya man i wont beat myself up, it was totally random, but just the part that it was my seat and my table the whole time, def can fuck with anyone! i think there was one more guy at that table that walked away, and im sure if he hears about this will be kicking himself in the ass too. oh well, next time. at least i know i came close so maybe the luck will be on my side who knows. lol

    I met Jimmy in 1976 in Manhattan. We were working on a film called The Eyewitness with Bill Hurt and Sigourney Weaver. Morgan Freeman had a small part in it. He was always nice to me and we got along well. We were just about to shoot a scene on a new york street corner when around a corner comes a guy chasing another guy. Right in front of the camera the chaser grabs the guy and sticks a shiv in him. Every body thought it was part of the movie but we new this was real. We stop in our tracks and nobody moves as cops who were working as security on the set jump on the knifer. They clear em out and the set guys wipe up the blood.. It was bizarre. Peter Yates the guy who directed Bullit, was directing, and he yells out "Action", and we continue on like nothing happened.
    Jimmy was like an MIT guy that had an IQ that was nosebleed high. But he was real down to earth.
