UTG+1-190
Cutoff-250
Hero on button-170 KdJd
UTG+1 raises to $12 pre, cutoff and I call
flop 9s6d2d pot $39
UTG+1 leads for $58
cutoff tanks for 2 mins and folds
Hero???
only hand ive seen villian make this move he showed JJ on a Qxx board. -
You're beat and do not have pot odds to draw. He has 33% of his chip stack in the middle.
I don't think he folds to your semi-bluff here.
I would lay the hand down and wait for a better spot. -
Do you enjoy a good gamble? If you do I would just shove, obviously the right play is to fold, but he probably has an overpair and as long as it's not kings or aces you probably can hit the king or the flush or backdoor the straight. If you want to take the gambling out of the game, you definitely got to fold cuz like the other person said, he probably never folds to your reshove and I doubt king high is good

i mean what better spot are you looking for lotgrinder? other thn flopping stone cold nuts obv -
^^ perfect example as to why you need to be properly rolled. Furthermore, when these live donks are raising to $12 pre (standard i know) the pot gets inflated easily, which of course makes this more of a gamble spot and/or an easier shove due to pot odds, but bottom line is there is money to be had here, so get it in now, if not, fold pre IMO.

I can understand that hes not folding often however, you have so many outs...... I feel its too strong you just have to shove.
BTW in an MTT you can't reload but in cash you can always buy more chips incase you don't bink -
Just fold it.
I think the villain made a good size cbet with a hand like AQdd looks like he has a good awareness of stack sizes
or
He could be an idiot savant with an AK and then figure he's pot committed if/when you shove over his bet.
I'm not one of those players who flops a flush draw and then figures i must go with it no matter what. Being that its a cash game you don't have to take those marginal spots and that's what this is at best. I mean really guys what are we putting him on here? Are we expecting to get him to fold? Or does he have exactly 1010 were we are a tiny favorite and we know he'll call the shove?
I just fold these hands pre or put in a small 3bet if the villain is very active. -

We don't have a lot of information on the player.
We would prefer better pot odds.
I usually play $2/$5. If there were $80.00 in the pot and he bet $150.00 with $250.00 left behind, I wouldn't zip the pot all in. I'd just wait for a better spot with my $500.00 buy in.
So, since there is $39.00 in the pot, he's betting out $58.00, I wouldn't all in zip it here unless I felt like gambling.
If he feels like gambling where he's a 35% to 45% favorite... that's up to him.
I respect your take though, I also do respect it's a cash game, if we miss we can go reload.
We can all agree a "call" is the absoulte worst thing at least.
