A guy has asked me my thoughts on a structure for a charity live team mtt game.
they want to make it a £30 rebuy.
starts 7pm to midnight so not a lot of time really.
theyre expecting around 80 runners!
now obv this is gonna be a bit of a turbo but any suggestions on levels, stacks, rebuy period etc to fit this short time period?
thx

ultraturbo more likely. 2000 to start 25/50 blinds and doubling every 30 minutes sounds about right. 1 hour for rebuys/addon.
This would make lv 9 6400/12800 at 12am if you have 2 breaks. If everyone has only 1 rebuy you have about 320000 chips which is about right for the end of a live event like this. Not sure how many rebuys you will get but it shouldn't matter much unless you are going to have a whole lot of them. If you must be done by 12am this is probably not fast enough. -
Run a SNG Turbo Shoot out. With 1500 to start 15 min levels and a second chance table or 2 this gives a break and keeps the tourney short and for a charity even this worked great for me cause 1/9th of the players felt like they had won already and a bunch of people got the feel of a final table this will help with some of the luck factor for some noobs also.
