  1. it's a $65 tourney at my local casino and we're down to 4 and i have the 2nd largest stack.
im in the sb and CL is the BB. it's folded to me, i have AhQs and i open 3x. the BB has won a lot of his chips w/ 22 that held against AJ and 33 against AK. he has also been all-in numerous time so i feel like his range is super wide.

he calls my open of 3x and the flop is 8h 3h 2h so what is my play here? i'm ahead of his range and drawing to the nut flush draw. thx
  2. What are the blinds? How much do you have in chips and how much do the others have, and what are the payouts? All these definitely play a huge roll to how to play this hand.....obv a continue bet is the way to go, but can't really tell you anything with the information you have here!

No one is going to be able to give you an answer until you answer this.

However, you shoved, he called, you missed and got 4th is my guess.

    This.

So much depends on stacks. Here is how this should have been.

Down to 4 in a $65 Live MTT at local casino. The stacks are as followed SB XXbs, BB XXbbs, CO XXbbs, BTN XXbs. Its folded to me in the SB I have AhQs, I am 2nd in chips and the CL is the BB . I have seen the CL win a lot of his chips w/ 22 that held against AJ and 33 against AK. He seems like he is loose pre. I 3x AhQs from the SB and the CL flats in the BB. FLop is 8h 3h 2h what is my play?????

Then with all the info we can make a decision. In most cases I would c-bet the flop every time. You opened and he called, you c-bet and stay the aggressor, with that flop you will prob be cbet/calling considering your read. A mistake would be to ck and have him ck behind and then try and shove the turn with only 1 card to come to catch the draw. Hope all this helps

  6. chop for better than 3rd ppl monies
  7. Given the structure of most live tourneys that I've played I'm thinking that all four players are really shallow at this point in the tourney. Unless the 3rd and 4th place stacks are both less than 5bbs and I have close to 25 or 30bbs I'm comfortable c-betting this flop hoping to get it all in here. Now with difference stack sizes my play changes but regardless I still think that c-betting this flop is the best play here based on the flush draw and over cards you're holding.
