It's one thing to be focused, it's something else entirely to be completely oblivious to everything going on besides poker and ones own interests. I find it hard to believe also. Unless he's some kind of autistic savant lol, like Paul Magril but I also think that's unlikely. I'm voting for 1 giant level

Here's our article about Phil Ivey's fifth WSOP final table and the community reaction to it. It's pretty unreal:

So a dolt reshipped 15bb vs his btn open with 62o and gets there? Seems pretty standard, ul for Ivey, run better, etc
-
That was sick! Any idea how he finished in that tourney?

I was at An Tran's table a few weeks ago for about 2 hours and he would not shut up the entire time about himself.
Telling everyone at the table to look him up, how he has the record for most final tables at a single WSOP, his earnings in life, his poker celebrity status, etc. I wanted to smack him. Hopefully Phil breaks his record so An has one less thing to brag/talk about at the tables. Worst part was people were buying into it and asking to have pictures taken with him etc.
Morons IMO. -

That's because most dont play in a field of only 178 players, like the HORSE, or only 256 players, like the Omaha 8/b. Not that it's easy, but not exactly the minefield he had to go through to reach the Main Event Final Table.
