  1. 2-5 NL live game. I pick up KK in the big blind and there is a ten dollar straddle with 5 callers before it gets to me. I make it $85 and honestly would be happy to pick up the $60 as opposed to playing oop even with KK. I get two callers, one is a solid player I have played with a bunch and the other is someone I am not familiar with but did four bet and hour earlier with 45 off oop. He has been really active and his stack going up and down over the last two hours. My image is tight, I have three bet only 3 times and had big pairs everytime, twice showing down and been involved in less than 10 hands in two hours except a few limped pots when I had a blind out. Stacks; me $770, active player approx $525 and solid regular a little over $800. Flop 379 all spades? Here is where I dont know if I made the right play???
  2. Do u have the king of spades? bet 145

  3. It matters who called your raise first, the solid player or the maniac. If the solid player called your raise first with the maniac still behind him then I'd give him a fairly strong range. What position did he limp from? I know you have the best hand pre but all I can see him putting in big money here is with a set or strong suited Ace. I highly doubt he limped 10s - QQ. If he called first I lead out to see how he reacts and try to narrow his range down. If the maniac called first I still give him a very wide range, but this also widens the solid players range if he is closing the action and can just see a flop. I'd include suited connectors and suited broadway in the solid players possible range then. The maniac is a maniac and his range is super wide. If the maniac called first I'd check with the intent of raising. If the maniac bets out we have to see what the solid player does. If the solid player folds I raise. If the solid player flats I'm concerned. Any flop bet would likely be at least 150. He would have to be calling with a set or the nut draw if not a made flush already. He is well aware of the maniacs style and could be trapping. He would also be aware that you are tight and just raised big pre. It's still worth a call to see if the turn bricks out and they back off. If the solid player raises I think we have to make a big fold. Worst you will see is the naked As but most times I think he will be stronger to put so much in against a nut.
  4. Are you holding the K of spades??
  5. I dont have the K of spades and the maniac called first. I have his range on anything but figure him for small pairs 22-88 or suited Ax.
