poker player room rates in AC

    Whats up everyone,

    I just got off the phone with Bally's in AC. I wanted to go down this sunday to wednesday. I asked about the poker player room rates, and got a weird answer. Can someone clarify?

    they led me to believe that I need to register as a normal guest (at full rate) and play atleast 5 hours a day and the room would be 25$ a night. but they said there is not a gurantee that I get the rate. I simply have to hope that they apply it to my room charge.

    is this right.

    Or does someone have a contact in AC (concierge, check-in person, poker room manager...) that I should contact to forsure get the discounted rate.

    My best advice is to contact the shift supervisor/manager in the poker room. They are the ones who have the authority to book rooms for the poker players at the poker rate.

    All the casinos I've stayed, that's been the person I contacted.

    If you go on 2+2, the poker room manager for Borgata is very helpful with this. I think the rate is 99/159 if you do not go through him and he can actually get the nights comped for you if you play enough. Other than that, you can get 30-40$ nights at some of the strip casinos(Showboat,Bally's,Taj) with 4-6 hours of play but I suggest getting in contact with the Borgata guy since there is no better place to play in AC.
