  1. FB post from my buddy playing at the table at 12:30 am last night

"Just saw a dude get robbed at the rio. Guy leaves $20k plus in chips and cash on the table to go sweat his buddy on other side of room, other guy walks up, racks up his chips and pockets the cash, and gets out before the staff/security respond to the rest of the table freaking out. it appears he got away. One of the craziest things I've ever seen. Hope they catch him."

one of his comments after some ppl replied.

"We woulda done more but it happened really fast, when we questioned the guy he claimed to be friends w the owner of the chips, then just took off. We tried to get the staff to grab him on the way out but they were too confused and inept. He was unarmed as far as we could tell. Sucks, woulda done more if I had realized what was happening quicker, just happened so so fast"

  5. We must be in a recession if 20k is now high stakes.
  6. I heard it was like $120k, and the guy was a 7 foot tall albino dressed in a tuxedo.

I don't think elky grospellier needs the cash.
  9. Lol @ the other players doing nothing to stop the guy.
  10. But if the other players did anything to stop it they could have been charged with assault.
  11. the responsibility is definitely not on the players here

So, does that mean you guys think I'm making this up? The guys with badges always have the coolest remarks.

    But just for the record

Don't think you are making it up, but it's a way cooler story if the dude was a 7 foot albino.

  17. I've always wondered why people are so relaxed with their cash and cash chips on the table. I have had an incident with respect to leaving my chips on the table and while you should be ok generally you are on your own if someone decides to pull something like this. Just like it takes an extra few seconds to club your car in a bad neighborhood, you should not be walking away from serious cash - ever... Just a few seconds of precautions (cage with bag tag etc) can make up for a world of hurt. I know its not practical but these are tough times and folks are walking out the front door with racks of chips these days...

  18. What's one to do @ a casino when you have to use the restroom, have a smoke etc? Pay security to guard your stack, tell the dealer that nobody has permission to touch your stack and ask them to call sec if somebody does? Then the dealers change, do you time your break when the new dealer sits so they'll be there when you get back from your break? That's all unrealistic, but if this keeps happening maybe the casinos/regulatory agencies should come up with a policy or something..

Completely differen than locking and clubbing your car, guarding your stack constantly isn't impractical, it's impossible. I guess if you could convince the room to hold your seat and let you rack off everytime you got up that'd be an idea, but I highly doubt that'd fly.

  19. if you are mbn you will most likely not become fml, however the likelyhood of remaining mbn blade after such an fml-esque scenario is highly unlikely and you are most certainly going to be in a state of fml aftwards. With that being said, it is important to take into account the characteristics of MBN itself as a lifestyle choice. there is much that can be said about mbn-isms and it is very easy to contrast such things against an FML standpoint and or reality. In order to remain highly mbn I recommend telling the staff of that particular room to become less fml and more blade like in general while conducting casino business
