    Nooner is a $110 tourney with 5k GTD(I'm a research wizard)...Guessing they chopped it 6 or 7 ways?

    Congrats either way though!!!

    I love the chop discussions in the daily tourneys, I have many times just laughed at the people or told them to just give me 1st or 2nd place money(according to how many people left) and you guys chop the rest. It actually works sometimes, especially when you are the big stack. On the other hand, if I have the shortest stack with no maneuvering room, I will immediately say "An even chop has to be the best value for everyone, there's nothing but luck left at this point with how high the blinds are!!"

    We chopped 7 ways. That tourney structure is essentially a turbo. When we hit the final table, the chip leader had 14 BB's, so it would have been a shove fest if we didn't chop. The CL actually suggested it, he just wanted the medallion that they give you haha. I was 3rd in chips, but I had no problem chopping, I had a little under 10 bb's. Made over $100 an hour and played for less than 5. Success!

    Suppose depends how much the money meant to you at the time, i wouldnt chop as everyone else probably really wants to ladder, congrats tho.

    yah i just played this morning shootout tht lasts lil over an hour ,certain players didnt want to chop[cuz of me] 8 left, 6th 7th 8th place

    gets 20 bux back from a 22 buy 20 add on so i chose to play for 5th at worst because i woulda been left with one 100 chip, blinds were 2k 4k i had 6100 ,so i figured i would fold my bb, sb since they were both 9-3 and 8-4 but also because i seen that 4 players were going to be completely blinded out[plus 2 of them didnt want to chop with me involved] so i decided that i had better odds to cash for profit vs. going for 1st,i folded pkt tt utg with my 1 chip than watched guys drop like flies and i ended up getting 3rd :P

    the headhunters that hate me went out and got 20 stinkn bux than watched and rooted against me on other showdowns,all i did was laugh out loud

    As soon as i got to my hotel at the stratosphere I won my first tourney there. Then I continued on to lose 3k over the course of the week. I will be back next month to get my reparations.
