    Has anyone been up there to play any of those $55 sit and go's to get into the Mega Satellite? Im wondering how often those things fill up, I'm not really looking to drive the hour or so up there and wait around. I called them up to ask and they wouldn't really give me a straight answer. Thanks.

    they normally get several of the $137 satellites going per day...i havent seen any of the $55's go...but what u have to do is just come to play in their regular tournies or a cash game and have them put ur name on the list for the satties...soon as it fills they will get it going

    The 137 are running continuosly ( about 1 per hour) 3 spots to the 440 SS. Saturday night they were running two tables. Obv the structure is fast. Cash games can be very soft at times....

    Dont mean to hijack but have ya'll played in any of the regular weekly tournaments? What are the fields like, skill-wise?

    Played one about a month ago (tuesday $115) fields are small and soft structure is fast.

    I dont believe they even run the $55 sts anymore. And even if they did, they were terribly structured. The blinds go so fast in them that not only do you have to be very agressive, you have to win two or three coin flips when your just playing for first. However, the $137 sts are very much worth it. Friday afternoon through sunday morning you will not have to wait longer than thirty minutes to play one. The sts are some of the worst players you will ever find at Winstar. And because of this, the same is true about the mega satellites. I played 7 sts and won 5 of them, then sold the tickets. I would strongly suggest playing the $137. And if your playing a weekly tournament there, the friday $220 tournament is for sure the way to go.
