  1. Hey Guys,
So last night I was playing live 1-2 at the Daytona Kennel Club, and after about 5 hours of grinding I get in a really big pot. So I get AQo in middle position and have about 400, raise pre and get two callers (immediate left and UTG).

Flop comes Q42 with 2 spades, I have As, UTG leads out for 25 (he has about 80 behind) i make it 55, then person on my left calls (with like 40 behind) me. Dealer pulls in chips before giving the UTG the action.

Dealer is about to flip next card, and UTG stops her and lets her know its his action. He jams, I call, guy next to me calls. UTG has KK, guy on my life has K9ss. Board runs out Q4 for me getting there with a boat.

After the pot is over, UTG says that the next card was exposed (the card dealer was about to put up for the turn until he stops her) and that he wants a new run out...

Now I am usually the most calm person about rules at the table, but I got really upset. I told him no one saw the next card, and if it was a big deal why didn't you bring it up when you stopped her from dealing. Why wait until after the hand is over to say you don't want that card, seemed like an angle shoot.

He gets all mad, says 'oh im a reg here blah blah blah' and we get about 3-4 floor people involved, everyone is on his side. Eventually after about 15 minutes of debate, they decided to put the Qs (that came on the turn) back in and leave the paired 4 on the board that was the river. They re shuffle the deck to put back out what was the Qs (which really sucks).

After the re shuffle, BINK Q of spades comes out again! Instant justification? Anyone else have this happen?

  2. sick storry!

after the pot is over, its over. the chips are yours then.

i think they can't do anything if u don't agree.

there is no way i will haved let them do that if it was me. im ready to get banned from the casino or w/e but they dont re deal or re shuffle fck them!

  3. That's the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever heard of.

So the dude was saying that he saw the Q before it was dealt and before he jammed, but didn't say anything then?

Unbelieveable ruling by the floor there. I don't play much live but I've never seen or heard anything like that.
  4. Im one of the biggest regs in my card room that I play at and if I were you in this situation in my room I would tell them to ban me if they had to, cause NO WAY im agreeing to them re shuffling that Q in the deck AFTER the river comes out and AFTER i see this guy has KK and is 100% angle shooting now.
  5. Yeah it was going on for like 15 minutes, three floor people and a few dealers were around talking about it. Everyone was saying that it should stay as it played out.

It was pretty obvious that floor didn't want to make this guy mad cause he was a 'reg' as he said. Also, just reshuffling in the turn card in and not the river just proved they were trying to find some middle ground to keep that guy happy and stuff.

such bullshit, but after the reshuffle and the deal of the Q of spades again it was sooooooooooooooooooooo gratifying!!

  6. I've been dealer and floor, and i study almost all the rules that i could find. There is absolutely no way to do anything after the hand is over....That guy should have say something before the hand was over... I think if you send that to any floors of the world they will agree....

  7. actual cool story bro
  8. wow, karma is a bitch, lol vnh

  9. I got really happy that you binked the Q again for some reason....
  10. yah that ending was a good flip of the script,i'm sure every1 expected too hear the fkd up ending....good stuff bro, basically this dik wad got a freeroll and got karma slapped and the funny thing is that if the card was exposed, why would he call knowing Qs hittn the turn[what a liar] that was a bad ruling period

  11. If they will run it again to help a regular, I would have to wonder about the legitimacy of the game in that casino.
  12. Just don't play with him ever again because you know what he's capable of now. Go to the casino and if he's playing at the table tell the manager that you were going to play there but he's playing and that you know if anything goes a miss they will side with him like last time even though they were clearly in the wrong so you're going to go and play at another casino until he buggers off or they remove him. Let them know they've lost a valuable customer and that if it happens again they'll be hearing from you.

  13. It really sucks about not going there because its not like there is another choice. I either have Daytona or Tampa, and Tampa is about an extra hour further from me... So I don't really know how to handle the threat of not coming back, when I clearly will be back

  14. Just become a reg and then have them change the rules for you too. ez game.
  15. Fight against it stronger next time. It sounds like you just gave up and let them change the rules on ya. And if that doesnt work threaten to call the BBB.
  16. That's terrible. Sucks that you're stuck and not able to go elsewhere to play live poker. Glad you binked the Q that hand but I would be very cautious playing there going forward. I've never heard of something so fucking absurd.
  17. WOW. That is by far the worst ruling I've ever heard of, and I've come across some pretty horrible ones at my casino.
and lol @ the way he played it sounds like a withered live reg

  18. I am going to print this thread out (along with the duplicate thread on 2+2) and take it to the head floor person at the poker room. I think this will show him what kind of floor people he has hired running his floor and maybe this wont happen to someone else...

Anybody think this could backfire on me? If i try to question a floor ruling I could see the floor man being a dick and perma banning me or something....

  19. LOL! nh
  20. I play there a good amount as well, Do you remember which floor man made the ruling or which dealer was siding with him... With all the info given, even if he did see the queen why the fuck would it matter he reshoves when the queen hits???? It all boils down to a dealer being a total retard and then not knowing what to do and acting like a moron siding with another moron that is boasting about being a 1-2 reg at daytona.

I would print this out and bring it to them cause that is utterly bullshit.

Also what was the douche's reaction? I really wish I was there man hahahah
  21. definately print this out, show the owner
  22. http://www.facebook.com/#!/DBKCandPR

    aaand...cue drunken double_kyan input...check.

  26. Laughable ruling... I'd make sure you question it next time cos if they make calls like that its really not worth playing. Anyone who is a reg gets to freeroll any big pots they play.

    Spineless floor imo
  27. Worst ruling ever, but best ending ever. Congrats.
  28. What was the reaction when you brought the printouts in? I'm curious.
  29. Actually didn't go on Saturday...I will be going this Saturday and I will have the printouts with me. I will let you guys know what happens on Saturday night/Sunday.

  30. ummm why complain after the turn and river? only room to say is before dealer runs out. also floor ruling might be the worst ever. to redraw the turn but leave the river?? terrible.
