WPT Five diamond, why so many paid?

    Was looking at updates for this and 100 are getting paid out of 413 entries.

    Is this typical for this tournament and do they have a specific reason?

    I have no idea if it's normal for them or not, but the fact that they're paying 25% of the field is so laughable

    Yes this is normal for the Bellagio, they always pay an absurd amount of people. I think if they get more than 400 people they pay 100 players. I think if they would have got 399 they would have paid 50 and if they got 700-800 players they would pay 100.

    pretty much this. We experienced same problems during Festa, we tried to address it then, obv nothing was done.
