Sounds bad but I feel like he should of been busted from the tourney. He mucked his hand when action was still going. Whatever chips were in should be sent to the other player imo. Is this the correct ruling or should he of been out of the tourney? -
WOW!
she's definitely snap calling! I would have annouced call and turned my hand over immediately! thats fucking terrible! -
That's a ridiculous ruling. It's not her fault he made a huge mistake. It's a tought situation to take all the guys chips from him, but he did it to himself. He was all in, his chips STAY in the middle. I would run out the board, and the community becomes his 5 card hand. If they both played the board, like a straight or flush, they split, otherwise Baumann wins the pot.

The fact she had Kings makes it even more ridiculous. His mistake cost her 2million in chips, thats huge.
Reason: DCMA -
I read that Gavin Smith was heated over it. I think the ruling was horrid. Guy should of been paying more attention. Sucks for Baumann

Edited By: alun Jul 15th, 2012 at 02:26 PMI think it would of been harsh for him to of lost his whole stack but i think he should of at least been made to forfeit the 60k call which he did anyway plus an additional 60k for the allin/muck imo but then a ruling like this could open up angle shots in the future so idk, funnily enough something a little similar happened to estelle denis ironically another french women in the 2009wsop where she 3bet all in with AA and the dealer mucked her cards by accident that day the ruling was that she'd only lose a raised bet.Originally Posted by Tilted0o

they don't like french women lol (i know they don't shave). 3 years ago deep into the main EVent, Estelle Denis holding AA got her cards mucked by the dealer: she goes all in and moves her stack in front of her cards. JC Tran calls and the dealer takes her cards lol

kiri is that just a myth or is it true about french women not shaving, personally i think they sound and look hot

This definitely came at a huge moment in the Main Event. And, given that there's an $8.5M top prize on the line, will be critiqued for some time to come.

Here's WSOP Rule 89, btw:
All chips put into the pot in turn stay in the pot. If a Participant has raised and his or her hand is killed before the raise is called, the Participant may be entitled to the raise back, but will forfeit the amount of the call. Any chips put into the pot out of turn fall under the action "may or may not be binding" Rule 88. -
Well, they did follow their rule, and they have been consistent with it. I guess that's all you can ask for.
Does anyone know who was in the big blind and how many chips he had? It kind of looks like the guy didn't see Baumann's raise and thought it folded to him in the small blind and he just shipped on the big blind because the big blind might have been short. Once the big blind folded, he mucked his hand thinking he had won. If so, his hand was probably a lot weaker. The range you need to ship on a short stacked BB is a lot bigger than shipping vs an UTG raiser. Even worse for Baumann as her Kings crush that range. -
the same guy koroknai cocked up again but this time he was hit with a 1 round penalty,
what happened was koroknai 4bet shoved gonzales, he asks koroknai for a count but koroknai thought he said call so koroknai turns over his hand.
