this is pretty awful...does this mean 0% chance people get paid more than the 20%?...even over a very long period of time?

I wouldn't say anything means 0% or 100% chance of anything. But it seems very unlikely that payouts will exceed 20 cents on the dollar. The payouts are said to be happening over multiple rounds, but I don't have information about when this process will start -
shit ill take it.

Well damn when i deposited on the sites i didnt get any kind of discount like that, but as we all know guess its better than not getting anything back at all.:(

Annie Duke must be behind this ...

That is absolutely awful.I have $3K in that stupid network. I am not from the United States (and even if I was, I'd be complaining the same way) and I'm being affected anyway. This is STEALING.

In the end...we're all donators.

Can you plese tell us who inside AP/UB gave you this information? Also, when they claim that players will receive approximately 20% of their bankrolls, are the funds to come solely from the liquidation of Blanca and Cereus cash reserves? Or would that 20% possibly be higher if the DOJ agreed to release frozen funds? Is there any chance that these frozen funds are released?
What is the timetable for things to start happening? -

Ya, is there any chance of getting paid more if they liquidate assets? And/ or does the DOJ have frozen funds that could be returned to players as well that could increase the potential percentage?!?! -
This is exactly what I was thinking....well of coarse after I laughed for a good minute
Dude I'd love to know who still plays there. This gives me less faith in the human raceOriginally Posted by pokerscrub1

LOL
Just another case of the big companies getting away scott free
You should of stopped at " No way they pay" who would ever put money back on this site after a move like that -
We've really posted all the information we have here. Sorry to say that we can't reveal the names of our sources. I'm not sure how that information would be useful to you, and it certainly wouldn't help with the future possibility of us being able to provide information like this to our readers.

I don't have information on a timetable or where the funds are coming from. If I had to guess, I'd say it's a combination of UB/AP's assets and funds being held by the DOJ. But I really don't know about that, it just seems logical to me -
I'm thrilled...that's 15-20% more than I was expecting.

umm thats weak ,because it's saying paid out over time ? so basically 4 installments at .20 is the value of a nickel on the dollar and thats giving them credit that they can do 4 installment payments ,heck it could be ten installments, just donate what i have owed to the parents of that 2 headed boy in brazil ,i def wont tell u to keep itWHO ARE THE 11 IDIOTS PLAYING CASH GAMES ANYHOW,SOUNDS LIKE THE RAKE COSTS MORE THAN ANY WINNINGSI'M THINKING THESE ARE THE 11 SURVIVORS OF BF, MIGHT AS WELL PLAY TILL RAKE GETS IT ALL WITH ONE GUY LEFT

Who are the 11 dumbest players in Poker? How can this network still be running? I pulled up Absoulute's home page and it shows over 3000 players on the network? What a joke!
-
Thank you USA DOJ, justice was served!!!
-
So can we write off the 80% loss on our taxes this year?
-
Money thats not in your bank account isnt technically yours anyway. You can write off loss up to the amount you deposited ($100) then you have to pay on the amount of winnings you actually receive ...ie the 20% they will give you of the $3000 you won..$600. So you would get like $420 after taxes ....bah hahahaha DOJ. What a joke online poker has become. Itll take years to earn that trust back. Oh im not a CPA but have experinced the dry Fk we're receiving
