  1. In a massive hand during the most recent session, Dwan (pictured) raised to $1,200 before the flop and Cates pushed it to $4,000. Dwan called and the action flop came 9-8-6 with two diamonds. Cates checked, Dwan bet $4,800, Cates check-raised to $10,800, and Dwan 3bet all-in for his stack of $48,000. “jungleman12” called all-in to set up an $80,000 pot and the turn and river were run twice.

In the first board, a running 8h-9s awarded half of the pot to Cates, whose king kicker played for two pair, nines and eights. The second board filled out Qh-Kh, giving Cates a pair of kings and the win. He raked in the entire $80,000 pot and ultimately moved ahead $122,000 overall

um what were they holding this stuff makes no sense

No it said his K kicker played on the board's 2 pair....didn't see it but I'm assuming jungleman had something like KTdd+ and dwan maybe had 67o, Q7dd or something along those lines.

Anyway, jungleman looks to be in the driver's seat. Dwan's gonna have to make a serious push over these last 32k or so hands to make the comeback.
  4. ya seriously wtf were they holding?

  6. Ha... Cates had K-J of diamonds and Dwan had pocket sevens. Just added that in for you guys.

So do you guys think this is all Cates right now or what kind of shot are you giving Dwan to bounce back?
