  9. Hallalooyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa !!!!
  10. So does this mean I will be able to play as long as I'm outside the US
  11. The agreements do not prohibit, and, in fact, expressly allow for, pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker to provide for, and facilitate, players outside of the United States to engage in playing online poker for real money."

Damn our government! The bold is like adding fuel to the fire to piss American poker players who live in the United States off! Why even comment on that regard. It's like they are rubbing it in our face that we can't play on these sites while other countries can.

I am glad people will have access to their funds that they EARNED, but I am dissapointed that our government continues to block people from making a legitimate living or playing a game during leisure!

This is not the way to pay your honest citizens back just because the US is in $14.5 trillion debt.
"We need our piece. Let's tax online poker."

  12. So how soon can we withdraw? and what are the methods available?
  13. and we build..
  14. Is there customer support email (i use that term loosely) back up and running. I emailed the other day and got a return email. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  15. I understand that I will now be able to cash out the balance of my poker accounts sometime in the future. But I wonder what will happen to the players' money that was in the processor's accounts that the DOJ seized? I've got a check that is no good and I can't see Full Tilt giving me that money back until the DOJ releases it.
  16. "Interestingly, the Department of Justice press statement explicitly approves real money play on pokerstars and Full Tilt Poker for those located outside of the United States."

So kind of the DOJ to allow this since they have absolutely no jurisdiction over it anyway.
  17. So is the DOJ approving real money play outside America by Americans? Because that is something, it might mean we don't have to change our nationality in order to play from outside the US. I wonder if the sight would allow it?

There are lots of countries you can legally stay for 3 months if you leave the country for a few days every 90 days.

For those of us who do well playing professionally this might open things up until International Online Poker is legal again in the US. My guess would be about 6 months or so until this happens in the first States.
  18. Great news for all the weekly grinders I guess... But the thot of ones hobby/job being no more.... crazy past week sitting on the couch wanting to play a tourney or wanting to check in on all the top US guys and then the oh yea cant. This has been a part of me since 2006 like many others and yes the past few years I havnt taken it 100% serious because of other life obligations and sitting in front of a comp 100 hours a weeks it feels somthing got ripped out. Keep us posted on a new site or when things come around for the US. PLAY MONEY IS NOT THE SAME AND THESE RELOAD BONUSES FOR NON US!!!! Keep shoving it in deeper buddy. GL GG ALL
  19. Well atleast that's good.
  20. This is very good news
  21. I logged onto UB @ 5:30 ET. They finally had a disclaimer like ft and stars but I could still sit down and play. Kinda wierd
  22. Good news, but they could at least get the year right...

20 April 2010 - On 15 April 2010, pokerstars ceased providing real-money poker to residents of the United States and related territories.

    ...Just sayin
  23. Lots of people just skeeted

  28. Dear Us Govt.,

I have roughly $1700.00 on FTP. You can have it. Its yours. Now if you can get about 3000 more players with similar bank rolls to agree to the same, you can afford to blow one more hole in the dessert of your choice.
