  1. Hey, look at me, I'm in an article.
  2. I'm a massage therapist, so my job is also 100% commission based. The difference between poker and a commission-based job is that if you run bad at your job, you gain nothing (or less). If you run bad at poker, you LOSE money. That difference is key. I mean, if you want to play full-time, then good luck. But if you have to ask 'Should I play full-time?' then the answer is almost certainly no.

I disagree, there are many types of 100% commission based pay structures. Mine like many other sales based professions was a draw against your commission so you can ABSOLUTELY lose money. Yes you receive a paycheck every two weeks but if you can't close deals (especially in this economy) that draw adds up real fast. Talk about MU hell, I know all about it.
  4. I keep playing lotto....dollar and a dream...
  5. I, too, suffered from the economic calamity & am currently playing full time to pay the bills. Thankfully, I'm married & my wife works, so we at least have some kind of steady income. My advice would be to get backed & have a go at it that way. Get in touch with herschelw. He might help.
