  1. I don't see how this would be acceptable to 95% of the people that have money on the site. I am disappointed with this suggestion.

    yep

  3. Soooo let me work this out, we all get shares of a company, thats in debt to the worlds players 400 odd million.................... and we'll be offered market value for them after a set period of time...... so if the room does well we get our money back, and if by some chance they have damaged their reputation too much for people to trust them again (cos when u stick it so hard in players bums when we aint lookin it kinda hurts and all), we get a funky figure called market value.... i dont even have a hell of lot of cash tied up there and this suggestion is concerning.

You mean you don't want to take on part ownership of a piece of shit company?

This is a joke. Obviously it sounds like the DOJ isn't too crazy about the idea of turning over the seized money and obv the new owners don't wanna start their new business by shelling out 300MM to people who will never play on their site again, so this is what we get.

I will say this-the guy/group that made this this deal are quite shrewd. This "conditional sale" really allowed them the opportunity to get fully inside the situation and press all the buttons and turn all the knobs.
  5. would be better than nothing though!!!
  6. I'll take the equity and a personalized avatar.
  7. new investment from the sites existing owners? let me guess, the new owners want to give the old owners a chance to re-invest money they've already robbed from U.S. players, and all players for that matter. you got to be kidding? Extra Douchey!
  8. wait, did they say i should call the local police? for serious?

andy griffith will get to the bottom of this.
  9. w/o regulation or the abily to play I doubt any americans will want to invest....
  10. Tapie also gave the Times insight into his philosophy on the gambling industry: “It’s a natural instinct to gamble. Gambling has been there for thousands of years. Gambling is something inside the human being. It’s something that’s inside of us. And online is something you can’t stop either.”

Um, ya. I think this guy sold me a used car a few years back.
  11. There will be more than a handful of people jumping on the class action lawsuit if this BS happens. They might want to re-think

It said contact your country police...wouldnt that be the DOJ
  12. May provide equity to players owed the most ....thats ok i guess...coz they cant afford to play players like jungleman 1 mill in cash...what happens to players owed the least?
  13. why not become a share holder those were the only people to be paid last time!! lol

on a serious note i don't see this as a problem as long as it truly is an option and you have the choice to cash out your role if u want.

  14. And what amount qualifies you as a player owed the most money?

They recive T-shirts "knock out pro", bath robes and slippers. That way everyone will be fucking happy. Joke. It start to look more and more like a circus.
  16. minority shareholders never have any say on what happens, even the future pricing model used to actually value their meager shareholding so wtf are they thinking.......there is no way anyone should accept this deal, they should just start up again and pay the players back from rake (5% of your owed balance each month), it will hurt their bottom line but will endear themselves to the players over the long term - and they really need to be honest right now and start earning some respectif players get fully repaid over 20 months then everyone wins and fulltilt will survive to see another day
  17. There not gonna shell out an initial 400 million for a damaged company that doesnt even currently have a license to operate. Its wishful thinking everyone will paid in full immediatly. Do the maths FTP made is executives and pros $440 million in its 7 years of operation, now with no license and immense damage is that company worth $400million upfront.

  19. so sick how the DOJ has like 300M seized from those crooks which is just OUR money, and won't release it.....
  20. “The Tapies may address Full Tilt's liabilities by offering equity in a revived company to poker players owed the most money."

I give 49% of the STOLEN money back to the players beginning from the small rolls and going to the bigger ones until i met this 49% of the money(that is the LEAST MONEY) This 49% maybe represent more than 85%* of the players pool. Then i will give to the 15% of players total air ...company shares that "represent" 51% of the stolen money(that is the MOST MONEY) )...LOLLLLL can't stop laughing ...xaxaxaxXXaxaa sorry gyus i will continue with the post later Xaxaxaxaaaaaaxaaxxxxa....

*CONCLUSION: with the 85% back i can continue with THEM...+BIG BONUS for my "new" company?: NOW they are involved less winning players...only fish players that can fit easier in a stadium!!! First time in history... so many fishes IN A STADIUM instead of a pool! No doubt it will be full of spectators...
