  2. <p>Thanks for the article.  I had the chance while in law school to do a lot of research on the UIGEA so naturally when any challenges, come up, I'm very interested (as should any other American poker player).   I doubt the issue of standing will hold much weight, but overall the "void for vagueness" argument will probably be the focus.  It's the fact that the terms in the UIGEA were never sufficiently enumerated that has warranted a suit in federal court.  Hopefully the Court will see it this way too...</p>
  3. <p>Heres an idea.  Someone write a bill appropriately named the LIGEA, known as the Lawful internet Gambling Enforcement Act, attach it to another bill  and shove it down everyones smoke hole.</p>
  4. <p>I believe the most effective strategy in America would be to advertise legality and transparency as a means for desperately needed tax revenue.  Massive state deficits need to be paid for and this is a massive industry begging to be regulated and taxed!  I don't understand how you can call a ruling party this inefficient even competent.</p>
